This place is very convenient to where I live but every time I go into the store, I am dealt with poor service. I was purchasing dog food, while at the register 2 cashiers were side noting that they would never purchase their dog the food I was getting. And another time the girl watching over cashiers had a very bad attitude and came off very rude. I understand having a bad day, but working with the public you have to try to have a better attitude and be careful what you say around customers. I wouldn’t recommend going to this location.

Plenty good store. Skimpy produce section, but most everyday items are here and look great.

Okay, I give up. This store is convenient, but I don’t have time to check every label while at the store. In the last few months, I’ve ended up with sausage, hot dogs, yogurt, and polenta that were already expired. We also keep ending up with meats that are a day from expiring, and no, I wasn’t buying«manager’s specials.» Add that to the stale cupcakes from last November… ick. If your staff has the time to walk every customer to their car, perhaps you should have them checking the expiration dates on the food first. I would rather walk my groceries to my car myself than come home with expired food. Non-food items only from here on out.

Brookshires is the best grocery store in Denton. It’s not the biggest, but you just can’t beat the prices and the outstanding customer service at this store. Shopping at Brookshires is a pleasure. Everything is clean and organized, the prices are great and the employees have always been very helpful when I need help finding an item and even with recipe tips!(Thank you! My pork loin turned out delicious!) I really have to say, though, my favorite part about this store is the flower area. The bouquets and the goodie bags they make, especially around Valentine’s and Easter, are SO awesome. They’ll custom make anything for you and keep it in your price range. The lady at Brookshires made a custom beer bag for my husband, which he LOVED, and a florist quality bouquet for my mom. She even made suggestions on how to keep it in my price range but still look amazing. This is much appreciated, especially these days, when we have to make every dollar stretch!

This is my favorite grocery store in Denton. It is a nice store, everything is easy to find, and they carry everything you need and some super cool stuff you have never heard of– but just gotta find out what the heck that is!!! My only complaint about this place is there goofball sackers… Did these guys get any training at all? Cold with cold, no heavy stuff with the bread, produce NEVER sacked with raw meat!!! Sackers should be courteous, helpful, and good at sacking. Brookshires is usually the place to go for excellent service and this place is definitely in need of a management re-do. The manager should be ashamed it’s just absolutely ridiculous. Get your sackers trained guys and you are golden.

I lived nearby for years and one night I realized that I was out of spaghetti sauce. Usually this wouldn’t be a huge problem, but I had about 10 very hungry beloved band boys from Vegas who specifically requested my famous spaghetti bake. And I realized I was sans sauce after the noodles were already half-cooked. In a panic, I decided to try this grocery store because of its proximity and the direness of my situation. And was very pleasantly surprised. I was expecting a Sack N Save or Aldi type lower-grade store, but they had all name brands, the store was gleaming with cleanness, and the staff was super nice. And the prices were lower than Kroger! Total fan. Just beware of that crazy steep entry into the parking lot from Teasley. Someone should totally fix that.
