Brunswick Zone Denton Bowl

If your not near lewisville AMF and closer to here. This is the spot. Denton Brunswick is the top of the line bowling alley in Denton remodeled and looks fantastice. If your bowling with family or friends, you wanna be here. A Tuesday 2 dollar special Idk about you but 2 dollar pbr is back in olden day home town feeling. Match that with 2 dollar games and only 2 dollar shoe rental if you dont have your own, you can literally be the stud of the night and take the whole crew out for a night under 45 bucks. Now idk about you but you can go down town and spend 80 on yourself, then go home. Or have a party night with some family or good friends for under 50 bucks. Anywere and in such a clean and remodeled building you cant help but have a great time.

Nothing really amazing here. I liked that it was slow and we immediately had available lanes. Considering it was friday nite I would have liked a more lively atmosphere, but he check out girl was also working the concessions so I left it go. Not a bad place, but not a particularly memorable bowling experience either.

I use to go on Friday and sometimes Saturdays but the prices went up when
they changed to AMF. Just to high for low entertainment. For these prices you can go to Main
Event in Lewisville. They have way more things to do there.

I gave this a try after getting ‘overcrowded vibe’ from other reviews. Well it’s all true! Prices are fair, I was tired after two hours of bowling, lol. It’s a great deal for 3 – 4 people, a work out for two! We went early, before five and were greeted, paid and shod in 5 minutes or less. This is where I started having second thoughts. Prepare to be ushered to one far corner or the other if you are in a small party. The lanes, yes they are almost on top of each other. Well that’s how I felt being surrounded by two other parties of four! It was crow-​ded-​uh. Our neighbors were amicable and though the tables where you sit are not on top of each other (due to horizontal spacing), they suck. It’s like old airport seats. Or mall food court seats. Every time the people near you swap out, you can’t see what your partner is doing. At all. Of course my ball kept getting stuck. It was hard to find anyone except the poor guy ducking in and out behind the scenes, NOT ON THEIR PHONE. Heaven help if someone lost their child. These idiots would never see a thing! And the bathroom while not filthy, gets a ‘C’ and smelled like pee. Maybe no phone policy and someone might actually clean??? After waiting repeatedly on my ball, asked to be moved and the kid at the desk, between texts, told me he was not allowed to move us. He also helpfully allowed, in a flat tone rude sort of way, that our lane was ‘a bad lane’ if you bowled without neighbors. Really not true, it was empty maybe 10 minutes and both sides had problems the WHOLE TIME. The middle lanes were all empty and apparently reserved at least FOUR hours in advance for the ‘league bowlers’. We went well before 5 on a Monday. The bartender was efficient and sweet. I never saw her with a phone. Hmmmm. I don’t think I would venture a weekend visit. Not even if one bowling game before the next Monday would save me from Hell!!! Cuz it was also so damn hot in there, it almost was! I’m being generous with 3 stars. I don’t know how or I would just give it ²¹⁄₂.

Place was clean and staff was friendly. Lots of balls and everything was organized. I didn’t care for the way they packed people in. We came on a day that was fairly slow, and we were surrounded by people, even though the middle 10 lanes were dark.

Fun, clean, friendly service, especially Alexis at the bar. Pizzas, burgers, and popcorn are good. They also have Nathan’s hot dogs. The bar has a limited but good selection. I know at least 6 people who have had balls drilled here, including me, and never heard one negative experience. It can be chilly, if you’re just visiting, bring a jacket, it’s cool for the bowlers who are up moving around.

Fun! Cheap! Clean! After Ten Its Glow Night! Good For Family. But After A Certain Time They Serve Beer And Allow Smoking.

Went here once when I was in college, and I remember it being a lot of fun! And it was the best bowling alley pizza I’ve ever had… really good!

Have gone here on and off over the years… The building is starting to show it’s age… The only complaints that I have is that 2 people must be present to get a pitcher of beer, it took 30 min to get a pizza I ordered… Last complaint, the best beer they have on tap is Shiner Bock… so Shiner is my Bowling beer since every Bowling alley I have been too seems to keep that on hand… I was shocked to see this alley actually have a bottle of the Sam Adams Winter Ale though…

Brunswick has always been clean every time we’ve gone in. My kids love going here, love the pizza and mom & dad enjoy the cold beer.
