I love Crinkles! I’ve been going there since they opened, sometimes making a special trip specifically for their salted caramel cupcakes. The only reason I am giving them four stars instead of five is because the many times I’ve been there, I never feel a warm welcome. It would be nice if it felt more friendly. I’ve never had the people checking me out make small talk or really even be friendly. Everyone is polite, but not friendly. I usually get my cupcakes to go because of this. This is just a suggestion, also maybe a frequent buyers club/card too would be fun. I’ll be back. yummy stuff!

Crinkles and Co is a great spot for a quick breakfast, light lunch or a sweet treat. They are located in a non-descript Texas strip mall. Off of 35 in Denton. Specializing in cakes, pies and other baked goods, I expected to see a large case of items to buy but instead saw some cute tables and chairs. Apparently they do a fair bit of catering and specialty business. … Super folksy. They’re not a coffee shop but have some darn good coffee. We had the egg croissant with added bacon which was great. There was a mixup where on their Unilocal profile they are supposedly running a promo for free coffee but the lady at the counter said that they are no longer participating. Womp womp. Because of the mixup they did comp us a cupcake which was dark and chocolatey. I’d definitely come back to Crinkles if I am passing through Denton.

I love this place, hot sandwiches are the best as well as the tomato basil soup! I normally move on to different restaurants after trying one but I went back the following week. If you can get the macaroons DOIT. They are amazing!

Reviews look good thought I’d try it. Took my grandpa for lunch, not a huge menu but standard bakery/café stuff I got a chicken salad croissant sandwhich was really good. I liked they had a semi-healthier croissant. The chicken salad was really sweet with cranberries n stuff. Again very good. Now I got tomato basil soup, that was not Good, it tasted soapy? Or like the basil in it was too old or something idk. I didn’t finish it, and I didn’t want to bother to say it was bad. Their shop was very cute, and the sweets looked really good but I didn’t get one. Seemed a little pricey for what we got 21 dollars for two sandwhiches soup/chips.

Wow! This place is amazing. I had the spicy chicken wrap. It’s a lot of food and it is perfectly spicy. Thick cuts of chicken, thick slices of cheddar cheese. What sets this off is their salsa. Crisp greens and red bell pepper, super fresh, super crunchy.

I got the spicy chicken wrap, the dressing is very good. It has a nice spice to it, not too hot. The chips that come with the sandwich remind of me of the blue corn tortilla chips, which I love. My friend got the turkey club and she also said hers was very good. Oy down side, took longer then expected to get the food, but very worth the wait. The carrot cake slice was huge and tasted amazing! The cinnamon roll was huge as well, also very good. Not dry at all, some deserts get dry and crumble, these did not.

Had lunch with my daughter. I had the Chicken Salad Salad and she had the Pimento Sandwich(not the exact name, I’m sorry) and shared a Reeses Peanut Butter cookie. Everything was delicious including the chips that came with the sandwich. We were surprised and delighted with«real» silverware. The servings were both generous and delicious. The atmoshere was inviting. Even though the TV was on, we were able to have a conversation. We will definately return!

I met a friend here for lunch, and I was pleasantly surprised! The sandwich I had, and my friend’s salad, were both excellent. Even better were the pieces of desserts that we got to go for later. The breakfast menu looked delicious, so I am going to have to go back and try it!

I ordered a chocolate cake for my friend’s birthday. When I got into their store, I tried their macaroon and it tasted much better than I ever had, as well as the chocolate cake. I like this bakery and I think I ll go there again.

I’ve been meaning to try this place out for ages and finally gave it a go during lunch. The inside is small and quaint, but I was a bit confused about ordering at first. Ended up getting a sandwich and tomato basil soup. The soup was amazing. I’ll definitely be back to try out more menu options.

Always enjoy eating here. Always perfection. No mistakes the desserts are on the higher end of the calorie scale. However it never hurts to splurge. The potatoes scrumptious. We come in to town 2−−3 times a month. This is our go to breakfast place

The croissants seemed over cooked and really crispy/crunchy. The bacon was very good. The cheesy garlic potatoes were good. For 1 burrito, 2 croissants, 2 juices and a water it came to about $ 30. Which seemed rather high.

This place was recommended to me by a most unexpected source… I went to the doctor because I was sick and she found out that I was a chef and she told me about this place. I’d seen it on Unilocal, but hadn’t taken the time to go. I’m absolutely glad that I took her advice. I am pretty good at deciphering ingredients, and i’m not a huge tomato soup fan, but i got the grilled cheese and tomato soup. I asked what their secret was to the tomato soup and she told me «it’s made with love». I’m stumped, as a chef, that soup is light and airy and delicious…

Tried this place over Old West and I was not disappointed at all! I had their build your own Omelet and it was amazing, served with a side of nicely seasoned potatoes covered In cheese and toast. SO delicious! The service was great, along w the atmosphere being very chill and small town feel.

Walked in for some brunch, and I was craving pancakes. I almost walked out because they didn’t have them on their menu(I was REALLYREALLY set on them), and the nice lady at the counter pointed out their special of the day — strawberry shortcake waffles. She also pointed out that waffles were better than pancakes, to which I had to agree, and I ordered up some waffles, turkey bacon(/shrug, guess I wanted to balance out decadence with healthiness?) and my husband ordered two breakfast tacos with a side of potatoes. Holy freakin cow, everything was amazing. My waffle was cooked to perfection, had fresh strawberries and whip cream on it with chocolate shavings, and even my silly healthy turkey bacon was great. The tacos looked superb, and huge(and he loved ‘em), and the potatoes were garlicy and decadent and the little bit of cheese on top just put them overboard into awesomeland. Anytime I’m in the area, I’ll do my best to make my way to this place, which I decided on because of the quirky name(and great Unilocal reviews). Good job, Unilocalers, you didn’t steer me wrong here!

Let me start by saying that I am a cupcake aficionado — meaning, I’m kind of a snob when it comes to these pint-size treats. I may take it a wee bit too seriously. With that in mind, the only reason I knocked a star off was due to the cupcakes. Don’t get me wrong, they weren’t «bad» by any means, just nothing impressive. I mean, it kind of tasted like something I could make from a box and I know they don’t do that type of thing here(everything is made from scratch). So yeah, sorry Crickle’s & Co. We do LOVE the idea of your restaurant/bakery(getting started on your own and doing your own thing), we loved the ambiance, and the brunch was *amazing*, but the cupcakes were just okay. For the record, get the breakfast tacos and avoid the chocolate cupcakes.
