Had a horrible and humiliating experience here. I went in because I got stung in my mouth when I drank from a can of soda that a wasp had crawled into. I know it was a wasp because I quickly spat it out after being stung. I was stung twice, on the tongue and on the gums and was, still am, in an extreme amount of pain. I waited a day to go in, hoping the pain would subside, but it did not. My gums are very swollen and painful, I can’t even brush my teeth or eat. The doctor(I’ll call her Dr. Chi) did not believe that anyone could possibly get stung inside their mouth. She was very sarcastic and rude to me(she went so far as to ask if I had been standing around with my mouth open… wtf!?) She said she’d never heard of wasps getting inside a can of soda(obviously she’s never been on a picnic in the summer with open cans of soda sitting around), she repeated several times«that doesn’t make any sense to me» and«I don’t understand how you didn’t swallow the wasp if you drank it.» She asked what exactly happened, I told her I was working in my garden and she interrupted me to sarcastically ask«You were gardening AND drinking a soda?» Like the idea of having a beverage handy to drink from while working outside was a foreign concept! She made it clear that she did not believe me, but she did concede that yes my gums are swollen and red though she said it was probably an infection and gave me antibiotics. I had been in there a couple of weeks ago for a brown recluse bite(from cleaning out a storage shed) and was treated well, though now I’m shocked she was able to understand that spiders bite(though why a spider bite is believable but a wasp sting isn’t is beyond me) I tried to explain what happened but gave up when I realized that I was dealing with someone who has probably never been outside long enough to have had to deal with wasps and bees. Plus it hurt to talk and arguing with an idiot wasn’t doing me any good, I also had no idea what exactly she didn’t understand since the only feedback I got was heavy sarcasm. The whole conversation left me baffled. The only reason I’m giving 2 stars instead of one is because the two nurses were very sympathetic and were able to wrap their heads around this simple situation. I’ll not be going back here, I left in tears feeling humiliated and emotionally abused. Never in my life have I had a doctor act so unprofessional. I am including a link to a page showing wasps crawling into soda cans for her benefit in case she reads this and to keep others from being treated like I was. I’ll also add some photos. Photos I was able to find in less than 5 mins on Google by the way, something she could have easily done herself if she had cared. look it’s such a common problem that someone made a device to keep wasps OUT of your soda can!

I’ve been once and was sent from there to the ER but not sure if it was really necessary. Either way the staff was friendly and service was prompt. I’ve also taken my daughter for an injury and again service was prompt and staff was professional and friendly.
