DFW Mobile Notary Service

I called at 1:30 PM requesting a mobile notary. The man assured me they would accommodate my request and that it would be a $ 41 charge. 3.5 hours later once the job was complete I received a voicemail stating the charge would be $ 56.
I called the man back and explained that they said it would be $ 41 and that I ordered the notary at 1:30. He said they were busy and could not get to it until after 4 and that prices increased after 4. I told him that I felt as if this had been done on purpose because I was supposed to receive a call stating when the notary would arrive to stamp the document, which I never did, and then was never told the prices increased after a certain hour and was told the charge would be $ 41. He said that I «insisted» that the notary be completed today, which I absolutely did not. I requested that if they had the time to complete it today that would be great, but if not the notary could be done another day when I would not incur a larger fee since there was no rush. He made it seem as if they were doing me a favor when I was paying for their services.
At the end of the call he yelled and hung up. Talk about a lack of customer service and way to treat clients poorly. I am not ok with being taken advantage of and am not going to sit there quietly and let people do whatever they think they can get away with either. I would not have felt so compelled to write a negative review had I not been yelled at and treated poorly on the phone for THEIR employees’ miscommunications. They should notify clients prior to possibly upcharges instead of trying to spring it on them without warning in order to get more money. He even admitted they should warn clients about the charges prior to completing the service too and still had the nerve to yell at me after he admitted that. I have no problem paying more money for something I need, but I do not deal with dishonestly and I felt that they were trying to pull the wool over my eyes and then got angry when I called them out on it.
Also beware because this company uses several different websites, but it is actually the same company. The .net and .com is the same company. They also have several different Unilocal accounts for different cities for some reason.
