My go to neighborhood nail salon. Not the fanciest and not the cheapest. But it’s the most convenient and consistent I’ve found on the south side of town.

I am so thoroughly disappointed in the way that this nail spa has gone down due to recent management changes in the last two months. I have been going to this place for almost 10 years and the people there are like family to me. I have only continued to go with the new management because of those people that I’ve considered family. I can only hope the new management reads this because what I’d like to say is that PEOPLE that work for you in your establishment is what makes the place feel like family but your management can certainly ruin everything that’s been built. You must do better. But you have lost a loyal customer who has brought many other customers with her.

When you get a $ 100+ Mani pedi, you expect an amazing experience, which is far from what I got. I was quickly seated when I arrived, and a nail technician quickly handed me a «menu». I made my selection and they quickly started to get things ready. Disliked: My technician spend most of my session talking to another technician. The only time she attempted to converse with me was when she was almost done. May not be a con for some people, but I enjoy conversing with my technician. The massages were lacking and did not feel anything differently than what a basic pedi or mani would get you at any other nail salon I’ve been to. Even with all the oils and scrubs, it was not worth it. Mani was not done properly. Cuticle was not properly removed and the nail polish started peeling the day after my mani. Conclusion: I will not be coming here ever again. Felt it was a total waste of money, and could’ve gotten the same service and better quality on a basic mani/pedi that would’ve been about half of the cost in other nail salons.

I believe in being pampered just a little bit when I get my toes done. Of course I could paint my own toes and save some money. Unfortunately this place hardly has the feel of relaxing. It’s has the typical nuances of a treadmill nail salon. When I came in they yelled at me from the other side of the salon. Pick a color pick a color, since I brought my own I could skip that step. So after waiting 10 minutes with no word as to when I will be seated I asked the little girl(she looks 12 an has a shop jacket on and she works there) how much longer will I be waiting, my time is important to me, she got up and she ran some water in a massage chair for me to sit in while I waited, looking back i Believe it was to keep me there. The chair was broken and many others were too, so no massage. 15 minutes later my nail tech was offering me the pedicure upgrade options from a cheap menu, lavender this and rose something for a few dollars more. Okay I will give anything a try once bring on the lavender. Out comes this overused plastic purple flower on a tray with some lavender oil. Ten dollars for that? I wasn’t offered anything to drink, however others were. The magazine selection is so old, last years magazines. The massage part of the pedicure was rushed. I would have given this place a one star however the nail tech did a good job painting my nails, which ultimately is the reason I came. The massages and lavenders are just bonuses. I would steer clear of this place unless you like to be treated poorly for your hard earned money.

Just Love this nail Salon. Everyone is extremely friendly. You are greeted with a smile every time you walk in, they are professional, friendly and customer service oriented. I have visited many different Nail Salons and this one is by far the best. Jenny and Linda are so sweet and really work hard to promote a relaxing environment. I have referred many customers here and they all just love the experience. They go above and beyond trying to accommodate everyone… Thank you Divine Nails for providing such excellent customer service!

I have been going to this salon since the new owners took over. Linda /Lynn are my technicians and are always thorough and very professional. The manager Jen is always very friendly she takes time to greet and speak to all the customers and assure they are always handled in a professional manner. The best salon ever.

I had been gone for a while, very sick, and came back to get pampered. As usual? Jen, Lynn and Linda were amazing, flexible and professional. Boy oh boy… I needed a lot of work. I was sad to see a bad review on here and in particular saying bad things about Jen. I’ve ALWAYS found them to offer great service and demonstrate kindness and yes, honesty on very busy days but NEVER rude. Please go to this wonderful family run business.

I love Devine nails! I will never go any where else. Jenny, Linda, Ann(really all the staff) are kind, nice people who treat their customers like family. I have never had a single bad experience. I am so so picky about my nails and no matter who does them in the salon I am always satisfied. Also, everyone in the salon makes an effort to speak English 99% of the time, which I love. I never feel like I’m being talked about! Haha! These women are absolutely wonderful people who care about their customers and their experience.

The technician Ann — is very nice and does good work. The services & products are low quality for moderate pricing but I really liked Ann. HOWEVER the manager, Jen, was incredibly rude. My sister came in with me — there was a wait, so my sister left and came back. When my sister returned I was half way done with my fill. Another customer walked in right after my sister(with out an appointment). My sister asked my technician very politely/quietly how long the wait was. Jen then shouted from the other side of the salon«we already waited on you — now you’ll have to wait on us.» Jen then took the client behind my sister. My sister said that she was only asking how long the wait would be and Jen said 40 minutes. My sister left and went to a different salon. I stayed long enough to pay and finish my fill. With in 10 minutes there were two technicians free. I can’t believe the manager treated a customer like that. I was appalled and hurt. I had been going here for awhile & I really liked my technician but I won’t be back.

I loved how I scheduled my appointment at 5:45PM and I didn’t have to wait. I got an awesome pedicure from Lynn while Jenny did my manicure at the same time. My manicure looks amazing with my gel nails. I couldn’t find the color I wanted but after I explained what I thought I wanted, Jenny found it right away and made it happen. This was a relaxing experience without feeling rushed or pressured to purchase a more expensive service. I will be back. * For an amazing pedi ask for Lynn. «OMG Good!»

I wrote a review for this place in November. It was posted for a few weeks but disappeared for whatever reason… So I will try this again! I love this place and hands down it deserves 5 stars. The customer service is awesome — which is refreshing– excellent customer service is a rarity these days unfortunately. They truly care about their customers and their satisfaction. They also have a customer loyalty program. Jenny does my nails and every time she is done I swear that it’s my favorite set. They are under new management so if you have wrote this pace off while it was under the former management team, you should give them another try.

My new favorite new spa! Just moved back to Denton in July, and after visiting the ridiculous and pompous Nail Envy,(which was sloppy and over– priced) I found Divine Nail and Spa. They are under new ownership by a lovely family that operates with professionalism and integrity. Linda takes great care of me for mani pedi and waxing. She does impeccable work. Thorough, sweet, and professional. She always takes time with me, never rushes and is awesome with my 2 yr old and her polka– dot toenails! We love this place and appreciate the pampering and special attention to detail.

NONONONO. I will not be coming back to this place. I came here on a Sunday afternoon needing my gel polish soaked off and reapplied, eyebrows/lip waxed. I didn’t go to my usual place because I knew they would be busy and I was in a hurry and it’s very close to my house. She(Linda/owner)did the waxing first. I’m pretty particular about my eyebrows. I usually get them waxed/threaded every couple of months and maintain myself. I specifically told her just to clean them up. I assumed that meant to wax stray hairs and trim anything that needed to be. I assumed wrong. She understood this as making them thinner, taking off too much on one inner brow but not the other, and when I noticed a spot she didn’t trim short enough and pointed it out she cut it below the natural brow line. WTF?! At this point all I can say is THANKGODFOREYEBROWPENCILS! Next was the removal of my gel polish. I had a couple fingers where she didn’t remove some of the old polish. I can only assume she was in a hurry to help more customers. This irritates me to no end. When she trimmed my cuticles she put nothing on them to soften my cuticles, nothing. Also it took her about 30 seconds to do one hand. She barely trimmed any and I clearly had extra cuticles that needed to be cut. For the gel polish and waxes my total came to $ 52. Shocking. $ 35 for the gel polish is reasonable. However to butcher my brows and wax my lip was $ 17?! That’s not reasonable. But perhaps it was my fault for not asking how much they charged. All in all this was an awful, rushed experience. I was really hoping this place would work out since it’s so close to my house and not as busy as some nail salons, but I see now there may be a reason for that. Lesson learned.
