This store is filled with beautiful clothing and awesome Buddhist statues, tapestries, and malas. There are all sorts of jewelry with different gemstones. I bought a mindfulness bell and many other things from the shop. There is also a meditation center where(at least in 2010 or so) people would regularly meet to practice, and Juliet would occasionally host retreats with Lama-La, who I think is a Tibetan monk and know is powerfully centered in the practice of mindfulness.

This is a warm, cute shop in a house. When we walked in, we were offered tea or… some other beverages like water. I stopped listening, because she had me at tea. I came here to look for some earrings and they have a beautiful selection. I had a hard time narrowing my choices down. The downstairs is full of jewelry: earrings, bracelets, rings, and necklaces. I also got a solid perfume in a cute case. There are also some cute purses and handbags. Go upstairs! I didn’t look closely, but there are some cute clothes upstairs. I got a very soft shawl for a gift here, so I’m glad I looked. This is a great place for the perfect gift and I will have to go back to shop for myself!

Cool place with Indian things. Its a very spiritual place with things related to meditation and inner peace. It is also in a house which makes it even more comfy feeling.

I love this place. It feels like you are in an exotic bazaar halfway around the world. The stock changes frequently and the items are beautiful and unlike anything you will find anywhere else.

From the moment you walk into Juliet’s Jewels(located in a quaint little house near downtown Denton), you will feel incredibly welcome there. Juliet herself is a very warm person, and on most occasions, will offer you a cup of hot tea when you walk in the door. She travels to India and Nepal to find her merchandise and carefully selects each seller to ensure that no child labor was involved, etc. The items are wonderful, unique, and full of culture. You won’t be disappointed!

I just stopped by here today. The jewelry is probably the best part of this store. The shop owner goes back to Nepal, India and hand picks all the items in the store, includeing the jewelry. Most of it is silver with semi-precious stones such as amethyst and lapis and turquoises. I didn’t buy anything but everyone working there was very kinda and helpful. They jewelry looks mostly hand made and of very high quality with great prices attached! The only negative about this place is that the upstairs section with the clothing was built into the attic, so I was too tall to easily walk around in the area, I felt like a giant. It’s located right off of carroll towards the square on Sycamore st in a small residential area next to the lot where they have the weekend farmer’s market stand near the Fire FIghter Memorial

When I was preparing to leave the Dallas area to move to Illinois, Juliet’s Jewels was at the top of my list of «places to visit one last time.» There was no way I was leaving Texas without a final shopping spree there. I had bought jewelry from her on a number of occasions, in her shop and at the Denton Arts & Jazz Festival; many of the pieces in my jewelry collection that particularly draw compliments to this day came from her. Juliet herself is an incredibly welcoming person, and also very knowledgeable about the different stones in the jewelry that she sells. She does the buying for the store herself, taking trips to India and beyond(I recall she had gone to Nepal before I left), and she has a great eye for attractive and interesting pieces. The shop is on Sycamore in Denton, not far from the Square and UNT, and looks like a mini version of the Cosmic Café in Dallas, in that it is an older house that has been painted with eastern imagery. Inside, the downstairs is devoted to jewelry, while upstairs houses a selection of fiber products(clothing, purses, tapestries, etc.) I was so happy to fit in a last visit to Juliet’s Jewels before my move(Juliet made gracious small talk with my dad while I shopped like there was no tomorrow); it’s definitely on my list of places to go when we visit TX in the upcoming months! A must for any shopper in Denton.

This eclectic little shop is in an older house. When you walk in you greeted and offered Tea, Water, or Lemonade. Juliet the owner is the sweetest lady. She sometimes even bargain with you on discounts if your the only one in the store and if you taking your time looking at every inch of her two story shop. She carries clothes, scarfs, purses, jewelry and home decoration all from India, Thailand, Nepal, etc. She takes trips often over there and stock up on items that people enjoy. She even carries mens clothing. If you make a purchase she sometimes gives you a mini little statue or a illustration on paper. The last time I went I got a little elephant.
