Dr. Linda Yeatts is a great general practitioner (GP), and well worth the trip from Dallas (40 miles).
If you are looking for a good holistic doctor in the DFW area, Dr. Yeatts is the doctor for you. Dr. Yeatts is a graduate of Dr. Andrew Weil’s Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine. There are only a few in the DFW area.
She helped me and my wife to get over some serious health issues through a combination of conventional and alternative medicine. What I like about her (next to her caring personality) is that she is not doctrinaire. Depending on the situation she will either propose a conventional solution (prescription medication, etc.), alternative solutions (supplements), or a combination of both.
She is also not shy of recommending life style changes if that is the underlying cause for your illness.
If you are looking for a doctor who tells «Take this medications for the rest of your life, but don’t change a thing» then she is NOT your doctor. If, on the other hand, you are looking for a caring doctor who will help you to get healthy again (with some effort on your side) then she is your doctor.
In a nutshell, she is an awesome holistic doctor. I only wish she was located in Dallas.
