Oven went kaput… and just a few days before family is coming for the holidays. McNeills was booked and didn’t have a repair person available for almost a week, but the gentleman pitied me and my potentially stove-​top only holidays and gave us some advice on how to do the repair ourselves. They also had the exact part we needed, ready to go, for a very good price. My oven now works and is ready for Christmas casseroles!

Worst experience ever. We scheduled an appointment to repair our appliance a month ago, and it is still not fixed! AND, The cost keeps adding up because he ordered multiple parts and replaced them that seemed NOT solve the problems. Customer service is not professional. Do not recommend.

We needed our top loading washer fixed. After some trouble-​shooting, we suspected it was the lid switch that was broken. We didn’t want to destroy the washer trying to replace it ourselves, so after calling Sears, we called McNeill’s.
They scheduled an appointment window, which I ended up not being home for. I was a little panicked, because we needed to have our washer at the least drained since it was filled with water and we had to move the next day. They made sure a repairman could come out to me once I got home.
Sure enough, the diagnosis was a broken lid switch. The repairman replaced it quickly, and made sure to show me the broken lid switch. He also gave me some advice on how to care for the washer when we move it and how to maintain it so parts don’t wear out.
The next day, I got a voicemail on my phone from McNeill’s saying that they had a special foam piece that is used to protect the washer during a move, and that I was welcome to borrow it. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the time to go up there, but I thought the offer was above and beyond!
We’ve been enjoying the use of our washer ever since, thanks to McNeill’s!

This guys are great. We originally purchased our kitchenaid dishwasher somewhere else. After 7 years the top dishwashing tray stopped washing. I called McNeill’s and spoke with Ralph who told me a couple of things to try. I was amazed that they would do that.
I tried both and that didn’t quite tell me for certain one way or the other. The next day I took the top tray in and we looked over it. Ruling out one thing after another. Ralph was there along with the technician and he suggested a couple of other things. We really didn’t think that was it. So Ralph pulled up a drawing of the bottom of the dishwasher. He said this is the part that usually gets gummed up. He walked me right through every detail on how to get to that part.
I came home and after some hesitation I pulled up that same diagram for reference. I decide to go after it. Amazing that metal filter was so gummed up that I am surprised anything worked. The blade that chops up any debris that is left on the dishes runs through this part. It was also broken. I take it all out and spend 30 minutes cleaning the filter and then I realize the whole thing had come apart. So I carefully pull it back together. Reinstall and button everything up. It works like the day I brought it home. I don’t remember the last time it worked so well. McNeill’s saved me potentially a couple hundred dollars. I will be ordering that part tomorrow from them. In fact I will order all my parts from them from now on. Yes I might be able to find it cheaper online. However they saved me money by not having to pay the tech to come out, so I think I can pay a little more for parts through them.
