When I moved to Denton this was the first place I got pizza from and since then I’ve been hooked! The service is amazing and the manager is incredibly nice. This pizza is not greasy at all which is what I love! This is the ONLY place my boyfriend and I will get pizza from, it’s just that great!

I just went there for the first time today and I thought it was excellent. The pizza was delicious; very flavorful. Other reviews were spot on when saying the pizza is not greasy. I didn’t have to blot it was a napkin before eating like I normally do at other places. The owner and staff were very friendly as well. The price was affordable too! I will definitely choose this place over a chain pizza place in the future.

This is not a typical greasy pizza. I would say it’s the opposite of a pan pizza from Pizza Hut. If I had to describe the crust, I would say it has more of a thin crust pizza feel, in the sense of a more dense dough but not so thin and crunchy, if that makes sense. The sauce is delicious and the toppings were fresh and the jalapeños were nice and spicy. I really liked it. I didn’t feel the need to take a napkin to the top to drain some of the grease. The owner is a sweetheart. Nothing like giving business to someone who genuinely appreciates your hard earned dollars.

This is my family’s favorite place to order delivery from and has been for the past 2 ½ years. The staff is very friendly, the pizza is consistently good, the prices are fair, and the pizza always arrives before the expected time. I love it so much that I order it for any get together/​party we have at our house.

We moved to Denton about 5 months ago and we were in search of a no fail pizza joint for our monthly cravings, this place is on our list!
The owner is beyond awesome and grateful for his customers, he makes you feel great for coming into his store, and is appreciative of you choosing his pizzeria. I have never had any other pizza place do this, the majority of pizza stores hand you the pizza and let it be. Why can’t all businesses be this awesome when you buy things?
The pizza isn’t bland-​nor over the top. But overall, it isn’t caked in grease, nor is it packed with who knows what like chain-​pizza stores. if I want a pizza and don’t want to spend 25 at the other place I like… I go here! He also had 2 large 2 topping pizza for around 18 out the door… cant beat that!
I’ll always be giving my business to Roman’s, forget about ordering from one of the chains, go here!

Either people don’t know what pizza is in North Texas or they lost their tastebuds… Something is very wrong.
You take your mass pizza chains like Pizza Slut, Pizza Inn, Papa’s, Sleezy’s Pizza and Gattitown and you’ve got your typical cardboard and ketchup excuse for a pizza. They are mass produced and lack a soul. So, you would think that a small, independant pizza place like this would strive to be more.
I though wrong. I was only here once. ONCE. And never will I grace their doors again. This is not pizza like the prior three reviews have stated. This is on par with the above mentioned mass chains, and that’s not where a pizza place wants to be. We as a family have never left a pizza behind, kind of like the Marines. We left two uneaten slices… it was that bad. Tasteless, flavorless and no heart.
I am a pizza lover and a pizza snob from New Jersey. I know a thing or two about good pizza… this is a sad excuse and I am surprised the place gets business. Then again, most in North Texas, have never had good pizza.
Go elsewhere, please.
