Taco Casa

I’m not sure if I should give it a 1 or a 2 on the starts. From a front end point of view Evan which was the gentleman at the window was awesome. However. As we got up the road I so happened to find a string of hair in my food. Uuuuuugh. I will never eat here again. Regardless of even customer service. You were super nice and very professional but j just can’t…cooks should wear a hair net… that’s my opinion and I’m sticking to it. Thanks Evan for being very professional when it came to handling this situation. I appreciate it! I was just hungry after seeing Kevin Hart and laughing so hard; wanted some good Taco’s. #BadIdea

Usually the service and food is great! But there is one person who works the drive through at nights like tonight, and she is rude and very unfriendly… I understand not everybody wants to work here… but if you do, take some damn pride in your work and show some customer service please. It’s not that hard to treat people with some decency.

Lately it seems everybody I know is raving about Taco Casa. At first I thought it was just another Mexican fast food joint like Taco Bell or Taco Bueno (and it is), but I kept hearing stuff about how the food was as good as an authentic Mexican food place. So I go and check it out. The first time I just got a couple of soft tacos, they weren’t bad but nothing special, comparable to Taco Bueno or whatever. The next time I went in I decided to order one of their entrees, the Super Nachos, to go. The Super Nachos ended up being a make-​it-​yourself bag of stadium nachos containing: a container of stale tortilla chips, a cup of cheese sauce (no it’s not chili con queso or anything, just cheese sauce like they squirt out at the movie theater), a container of jalapenos, and a container which had some pico, sour cream (runny from the pico sitting next to it), refried beans and a couple of tablespoons worth of meat. Honestly, it was maybe a half-​taco worth of meat for this big container of chips. So I assemble my nachos, and they were really dry because they didn’t really give me enough cheese/​meat/​other toppings for the amount of chips there were. So all in all they were pretty bad, nasty cheese sauce and a few other ingredients mixed with about twice the amount of chips as there were toppings for. They don’t really seem to have a lot on the menu either, or much variety. They just have a handful of standard menu items: tacos, burritos, nachos, tostada, etc. And all they have is ground beef. So no fajita steak this or chicken that, it’s ground beef or beans.

once the road construction on University is out of their front yard, this location will probably be a lot busier. Once the Theater is built, I am sure it will be busy busy.

Was extremely disappointed that I came here within 15 mins of closing and the doors were locked and the drive through had a cone in front of it. If their hours are until a certain time then they should stay open until then! It’s a shame because their food is amazing.

I am blown away with how incredibly clean this fast food taco joint is and that cleanliness extended into the surprisingly well decorated bathroom. The guy who took our order was both courteous and professional. Not sure the last time I experienced something like this at a fast food joint. Food was fine. Typical fast food Mexican. But gotta say if I wasn’t just traveling through this would be a place I frequent. In the category of «Fast Food» it’s well deserving of 5 stars.

This Taco Casa is great! It’s very clean and the employees are fairly nice. The food is all so yummy and cheap! I recommend the taco lites, bean burritos and the chilada. There sweet tea is also amazing!

I will never come back to this taco casa location. I always get the taco salad and every taco casa I’ve been to gives me 1 extra salsa due to the salad being so big. They wanted to charge me .41 cents for it. You spend 10 $ for lunch and they can’t even give me enough salsa to eat my salad. The manager (little Mexican guy) was I insistent on making .41 cents. I’m done with this taco casa. And I will be contacting their corporate office

Just about everything is good. On taco Tuesdays they have .69¢ tacos! Ask for amber, shes a sweetheart

Oh boy, you are in for a treat with Taco Casa! The quality of the food is sooooo much better than any other fast food Mexican food restaurant you will find in North Texas! The service is great as well. Always fresh, affordable, and great service! Come in down to Taco Casa in Denton!
