I go to this 711 at least a few times a week. There is an employee who works there that is very rude. I came in to purchase ice one time. He informed me I could not buy more then 2 bags because there was only 6 bags left. Weird policy. Then one day I had to wait for 15 minutes outside to wait for propane. He did have other customers but come on. I paid first. Then the last straw. I work down the street and frequent this 711. My jeep would not start in the parking lot. I asked if I could run down the street to my work just to check in while I waited for tow truck. He told me he would have it towed if I left it on the property. This guy is terrible! I can’t believe he works with the public. He never says hi or thanks. I still go there just because I don’t want to travel to the one on 18th and park ave. His name tag read Awe. He refused to give me his supervisors name after threatening to tow my car. Terrible customer service.

There are no words that can possibly describe what I feel regarding my favorite 7⁄11 location In The Entire World. Well… maybe one: «Convenient» !!!

It’s 7 – 11 on E Colfax… yeah, it’s a bit ghetto. I’m usually pretty happy though because I can take care of my business without ever physically going into this store. Gas yes. car wash yes… Bums that hit you up for money as soon as you approach the door yes. So stay away from the door.

Let’s just start by renaming convenience stores now as inconvenience stores. No location is really convenient other than proximity or location to one’s home or business. Once you pull into the parking lot of one, everything that could possibly go wrong, does. This one is certainly no exception. The only real plus I can see of this location is parking. I hardly ever have a problem getting in or out of the lot, unlike some other locations I’ve been to. They usually do a good job of keeping up the coffee and making sure it’s fresh, but If you’re getting gas at this location make sure to use your credit card, cause like all other«convenience» stores when you prepay with cash, the pump slows down a few cents before your prepaid amount, so people dont have fuel spilling all over the place. So for that reason it’s fine, but this location the pumps slows down I say about 75 – 80 cents before your amount, so you spend what seems like the next 30 minutes waiting…74, 75, 76, 77… and waiting 91, 92, 93, 94… oh come on already I’m missing Survivor! Where’s the convenience in that, especially when it’s 15 degrees outside and I’m in shorts! The cashiers insde are usually pretty friendly, but there’s always that one customer who has to purchase that one pack of cigarettes that the clerk cant seem to find, so you again wait as the customer saysto the clerk, «No to your left, over, over, one more row, that’s it!» Or the old man or woman who purchase several scratch tickets and has to scratch them all at the counter while I’m waiting in line to prepay for gas. I wont totally blame this on the cashiers, but you know a polite«Could you move over I have a line.» couldn’t hurt, could it? Go in early in the morning if you can, it’s the best time to avoid those lottery dreamers and use your credit card to buy fuel.
