Farrell was the best DJ we could have asked for. He kept our night going with music and karaōke, and his up-​lights are amazing, totally worth getting. People commented on them all night and how great they made the room look. Farrell helped me have ease of mind on my special day, he was just great and I really can’t say enough about how much of a pleasure it was to work with him, and I would highly recommend him for anyone looking for a reliable, fun, and passionate DJ

I enjoyed the entire experience with Farrell Woods and a Sharp DJ Service. Mr. Woods was thorough and helpful throughout the entire process. It is extremely evident that he knows what he is doing, and that knowledge is imputed to the entire wedding process, not just the DJ’ing portion. Mr. Woods was able to give advice on scheduling and even set-​up. The advice was not pushy or anything, but just helpful tidbits he made in order to make the entire wedding go smoothly.
With regard to his DJ expertise, he played all of the music we requested. In addition to that, he was able to tailor the music he was playing to the audience on the dance floor. It was important for us that our guests had a good time, and all of them said they loved the music.
If there were suggestions needed for songs to play, Mr. Woods was happy to make suggestions. He had a huge selection of music, and anything he didn’t already have, he was able to acquire for us.
The vendor we had delivering tables and chairs ended up very late to the venue, and Farrell even helped with the set-​up of the chairs and tables! There were numerous instances of times when he pitched in beyond just the «DJ» part. He truly went above and beyond!
Not only was the DJ’ing exceptional, but Mr. Woods was extremely pleasant to work with, not just to me, but to my husband and my parents as well. Both his demeanor and DJ/​music selection appealed to a wide age demographic.
I really felt like A Sharp DJ Service went so far above and beyond anything I might have expected. He really went that extra mile to make sure everything went just right. The wedding went beautifully, the music was perfect. I couldn’t have asked for anything more, and I couldn’t recommend A Sharp DJ Service highly enough.

My husband and I so enjoyed working with Farrell for our wedding! What a professional. I have been to countless weddings where the DJs are loud, obnoxious, and show offs. Farrell is none of the above. We were so appreciative that he spent hours with us, pouring over thousands of tracks and downloading music to make our reception so creative and special! My husband and I have what I would call unique taste in music since we are both huge musical theatre nerds, and Farrell took the time to cater our playlists exactly as we wanted them. We had a huge variety of music from big band swing, doo wop, 70s classic rock, Michael Jackson, Sara Bareilles, Paper Bird and hip-​hop to of course Broadway show tunes. He was masterful in the way he ran the evening. He announced dinner, cake cutting, and other various points in the evening with a calm and mellow tone which we so appreciated. He is so much more than a truly professional DJ, he really is a talented emcee, running the show seamlessly and smoothly. We HIGHLY recommend A Sharp DJ Service!!!

We LOVED having Farrell as the DJ at our wedding. He was extremely professional and organized, ensuring that we wouldn’t have to worry about a thing on our special day. I couldn’t believe the extensive amount of music he had for selection; much, much more than any other DJs I considered. He arrived at the venue early, dressed very nicely and appropriately, and went far above and beyond my expectations by communicating with all of the other vendors to ensure everything went smoothly.
Most importantly, though, he was so much fun! There truly was not a moment when the dance floor at our wedding wasn’t full. He was not «cheesy» or obnoxious, as too many DJs are. He was tasteful and kept the music flowing evenly, producing an absolutely wonderful evening. He has a keen sense of what is appropriate for which crowd and time, and made sure everyone was comfortable and having a great time.
I would HIGHLY recommend Farrell’s services and talent to anyone planning a wedding or any kind of special event.
