This place is really great. I haven’t stitched in years, and was looking for help to get back into it. Very experienced, knowledgable, and just plain nice people there to help me. Wide variety of inventory. It was well worth the drive from Castle Rock, and I’ll be going back.

One of the best Stitching Shops Ever! Seriously! This is the most square footage I’ve ever seen devoted to stitching, an absolute pleasure to shop in a well organized/​displayed shop. The owner and staff heartily welcomed me to the shop and gave me a tour (because it’s really that big). I literally felt like a kid in a candy store! I learned that they were a full service shop, they’ll serge your fabrics, they have connections to a great «finisher» (for those that don’t enjoy that). The fabric and pattern selection is so nice. I can’t believe I didn’t find this shop sooner!

If you love to embroidery and want the most amazing selection of floss you’ve ever seen, this is THE place you need to be. They also stock gorgeous linen, beautiful scissors and just about everything a passionate stitcher is passionate about. The staff is freindly, helpful, and knowledgeable. This store is so worth the drive!

I was so excited to find this needlework shop. The owner is extremely helpful and extremely experienced and knowledgeable about all the different kinds of threads. She truly has a love for Needlework arts and is happy to help you with which ever type you are interested in. But the store! The store is amazing! Beautiful threads beautiful supplies beautiful canvases and products to work with! And they are all incredibly priced and MUCH better than many of the other shops in Denver. Additionally the owner is the only certified Brazilian embroidery instructor in Denver and I believe in all of Colorado.
«A Stitching Shop» is now my «go to» store — despite that it is a bit longer drive for me.

They have Lecien Cosmo embroidery floss! In every single color! And lots of each! SCORE!
I tracked this store down from the Lecien website and they appear to be the only local store that carries it. Cosmo floss is even hard to find in stock ONLINE, and usually only at quilt shops. So if you want Cosmo it is worth the drive to make it out to this little store. Just put it in your GPS and keep going till you find it – the store was added on to a machine shop so it doesn’t look like you would expect. But once you get in, they may need to buzz you in for security reasons, its worth it because they have a great stock of stitching supplies. Not so much a boutique-​y cute have a coffee and browse type of place, but great to get supplies. The owner was very friendly and helpful as well.
