I find good customer service in various places in Denver but excellent customer service in just a few. I faced a very tricky situation RIGHT before hitting the road and leaving town for nearly a week. My mom was pet sitting and strong winds ended up breaking a branch partially and was leaning over my power line that goes from my house to the electricity pole and was slowly bending the metal pole that goes into the power box. I contacted Xcel Energy to no avail since «it was not an emergency since there was no outage.» They didn’t show up until a WEEK after! I contacted 2 companies before contacting AAA and left them voice messages (I am still waiting for their reply, it was 2 months ago!). Mr. Phillips answered right away, came to assess the predicament and came the day after when we were gone to complete the work. He even rearranged the patio and completely cleaned everything. If you are looking for a cheaper option be my guest but one cannot buy peace of mind. I didn’t have to worry about my mom being left with no power during the 100-​degree summer weather.
I highly recommend AAA. They are professionals at what they do.

Thank you for your advice about putting tuna at the base of a tree so my cat could come down safely. She ended up climbing down backwards! I was surprised to see that because normally, cats won’t do that! But she’s happy now; sticky and happy

Amazing service. I needed a tall aspen removed along with a young maple that had died. They also got rid of some bushes and cleaned up my remaining aspen. Left my yard looking prestine after. They even cut and stacked a pile of the wood for me. I also learned a lot and got some great advice to help keep the rest of green stuff thriving. The quote I was provided was the exact amount, no extras added.

Send 2 of his crew to the address I gave him where my cat spent the night, about 35 foot up a redwood tree after escaping our yard and after a sleepless night the guys got the cat down and I am very grateful! Thanks to all and AAA has a network of tree climbers

It was a Sunday afternoon when a neighbor noticed our tree leaning. A massive old cottonwood that was aiming for part of my house, my fence, and my neighbor’s back porch on a windy day. There was a crack up the middle that we watched get progressively larger within a couple of hours. We called 20+ tree services and AAA Emergency Tree Service was the ONLY one that answered (in fact we did leave a few messages with other companies and they didn’t even return our call). They were out to our house that day and had the tree shored up and our property safe within a couple of hours. This massive tree was out of my backyard the next day. These folks are fast, professional, and knowledgeable. If we have ANY tree issue in the future, this is the company we will be calling.

Joe Phillips is very friendly and professional, and he will go the extra mile to help. Joe recently trimmed my large oak tree to meet city code specifications. He returned calls/​emails quickly and promptly came out to give me a quote on a week end. When I explained that I needed to have the trimming done by a specific date to comply with the city code, Joe assured me that would not be a problem, and he even called the city forestry inspector to let her know.
In terms of pricing, AAA Emergency Tree Service offered the best price out of the 5+ companies that I called.
I’ve noticed a growing trend of people forgetting to say «thank you» when someone is the customer. For instance, it often seems like the customer says «thank you» when they are handed whatever they purchased. When, in reality, the customer should be thanked for their purchase. Joe sincerely thanked me for the opportunity to bid on the tree project and again sincerely thanked me for choosing his business after completing projects. That stood out.
I would surely go back to AAA Emergency Tree Service for any tree needs in the future. It’s tough to find honest and kind people for those «homeowner fun» tasks, but you will find it with AAA Emergency Tree Service.

Our kitten found herself 50 feet up a tree. Joe got someone out ASAP to get her down. He was wonderful to deal with and very empathetic to our situation. Thank you so much.

I guess these guys hire contractors, but the guys they sent were Ruiz tree service. They were awesome. I got 3 other quotes for tree trimming (tree was about 35 – 40′, about 1 ½ foot diameter trunk). I was just going to trim it at first (around $ 300-​$ 500 by quotes). We decided instead to get rid of the ENTIRE tree and stump, these guys did it for $ 450 total! I was expecting to pay a lot more for it.
Jose was really pleasant, polite, and knowledgeable about the tree, even telling me the scientific breed of both trees in my yard. They showed up a bit late, but they took the whole tree out with stump in about an hour. They raked the dirt back over, used a leaf blower to clean up the mess, and even pulled the hose out an sprayed off some dirt from the fence. They did the entire job over the fence or through the garage, and didn’t have to track dirt through my house.
I thought they were really professional, very efficient and well priced.
