Allstate Insurance: K.D. Sakraida

KD and her team provide more than excellent service to their clients. Her entire staff is extremely educated in all areas of the insurance industry. They are a busy office, but always make sure to respond to their clients as quickly as possible. Reading some of the other Unilocal reviews I simply cannot agree with those who say her office does not respond.

After more than 40 years with State Farm, I decided to shop around. After meeting K.D. and getting price quotes, the choice was easy. I moved all of our insurance (home, car, scooter, liability) the next day. She handled the cancellation State Farm for me. Unfortunately, the State Farm agent did not follow her clearly written instructions and canceled too soon. As a result, I was unknowingly without insurance for a few days. K.D. jumped in and got the State Farm mistake corrected almost instantly.
My experience with K.D. and Allstate has been superlative. She is readily available by phone or email. I highly recommend her as a knowledgeable, responsive agent.

KD seems like a great agent, but you never get to work with her. It is always KD’s support and they unresponsive and incompetent. I am taking my coverage elsewhere.

I knew there was going to be problems when the first email I ever received from this agency was an offer of gift cards if I signed up more people.
After switching back to Allstate because I missed the customer service, I discovered how bad an agency can be with processing claims, breaking promises and jacking up my quoted rate.
* I attempted to pay cash up front for my homeowners and auto insurance, but instead was told my maximum discount would be from automatic deduction — which took so long for this office to process I almost didn’t have insurance in effect when my previous policy expired.
*even though I had paid in advance for a full year for both policies, this agency kept finding ways to increase my premiums after I had fully paid… and then blamed someone else when I asked why they couldn’t get the quotes right.
*And then, to add insult to injury, when I contacted the lead agent directly and asked why there was an increase, she told me not to worry about the new bills and assured me they wouldn’t be charged… and then Allstate deduced the new fees anyway.
Allstate is an excellent insurance company with standard-​setting customer service. But if you want that, stay far, FAR away from this agency.

I was recommended to K.D. from a family member. I am currently her client with both a homeowners and car insurance policy. I have been her client for about a year and a half. During this time, I’ve had to call in multiple times for change of policies, address changes etc. I have only reached her twice (out of maybe 6 – 8 phone calls) as she always seems to be out of the office. I have requested quotes from her co-​workers which have not been complete and have taken a long time. When I’m able to reach her on the phone she is knowledgeable and nice but the rest of the times I have found that I usually have to have at least one follow up phone call as my requests were not properly processed. It’s not frustrating enough to completely switch but I have certainly experienced better customer service and accessibility with other Allstate agents.
