Did you know we have a DCI World Class drum and bugle corps right here in Denver?
And did you know this corps hosts the insanely loud n’ proud Drums Along the Rockies drum and bugle corps competition at Sports Authority Field at Mile High every July?
And did you know this corps placed 10th at the DCI World Championships in Indianapolis last night?
At a time when school funding for music programs is dwindling, organizations like the Blue Knights exist to remind us what discipline, skill and a love of music can accomplish. Their show tend to lean toward the nontraditional and avant garde; this year’s theme was ‘No Beginning, No End’ and featured the music of Pat Metheny.
