I just returned to Scott’s practice after receiving three treatments last spring and then moving away from Denver for a while. I have experienced chronic neck and shoulder pain for nearly two years, despite being young and active. After multiple different treatment approaches(physical therapy, stem therapy, injections) and many MDs having no firm idea what what was causing my pain(but willing to try invasive treatments) I learned about structural integration and found Scott based on Unilocal and other reviews. I experienced a lot or relief from the first three sessions, but did not use a practitioner after moving so I did not do a full series. Now that I am back in Denver I am excited to be picking up a series again with Scott; I had my first eval and treatment today(after 4 days of hurting) and am already feeling substantial improvement. I appreciate that Scott encourages awareness of your body and motions through the treatment and throughout the rest of the day. While he always seems to be looking for muscular relationships between the stated pain and other areas of the body, he does not rush to find something to blame but rather works diligently to find a holistic way to heal the body. For now I am looking forward to seeing how consistent treatments impact this ongoing problem and anticipate success based on Scott’s insight and caring approach.

When I first came to Scott, my main complaint was chronic migraines. That condition improved after the first session with him– I had a solid month without a headache for the first time in at least 10 years. 7 sessions later, I am about an inch taller, the hip pain I had is much better, my «knock knees» are fixed– I can now stand with my feet together(I thought it was just how my legs were and would always be). Headaches still happen, but they are less frequent and don’t last as long. The work is intense but a wonderful support as I have gone through some major life changes since beginning treatment. Scott has a gentle and supportive manner, respects the emotional and energetic aspects of the work(they are a big part of it). And he is a very good listener. He has also helped my mother with her lower back and hip pain.

Scott is a fabulous practitioner. I had a rib that bothered me for years, and one session with Scott completely transformed it. I was surprised that there was some old sadness connected to that rib… Scott has a combination of bodywork ability and emotional skills, which helped me feel the grief that was being held by that area, have a good cry, and amazingly, the rib settled into place. I’m a Rolfer myself, so I had many practitioners of different types(chiropractors, etc) work on it and no one was able to help it as much as Scott did. As I live in Oregon, I’ve only had a couple sessions with Scott, but I would recommend him without reservation.
