BBoy Factory is one of the true, homegrown Colorado treasures. Ian is awesome, the studio is something you don’t see at the commercial dance studios. It feels real, but best if all it offers people of all ages the opportunity to come and learn about a subculture that is often misrepresented. My son comes here and absolutely loves every minute.

This place is fantastic! They have all sorts of classes for kids and youth. Strength and stretching classes, practice sessions for only $ 1, and special events. My son is taking one of the youth classes and the teacher, Ian, is great. He is so patient and is very nice to the kids, but he doesn’t let them fool around and keeps them on task which is always a worry with a 6 year old.
The beginning classes are like 6 and up but if you think your kid is ready and they are younger, they will allow that too I think. In the first class my son learned around 6 different moves and found out that he couldn’t just do whatever he wanted, he needs to work his way up to being on the level with these other dancers.
Drop in rate is $ 10 per session, $ 5 for workout sessions, but the best value is the $ 85 punch card that lets you come whenever you want but you save $ 15 total on 10 classes. They keep the punch card there so that when you go in they just search through a little box of cards and find yours. We missed a few weeks due to an unrelated injury and it was nice not having to pay for classes that he wasn’t able to attend.
