Liz was AMAZING to work with! She did my hair and makeup for my wedding in Winter Park and I also did a trial with her. She was SO committed to making sure I LOVED everything she did. I gave very little direction on what I wanted her to do and she nailed it on the first try. On the day of my wedding, I was still not exactly sure how I wanted my hair pulled back and that morning she tried out a few different ways to pull back my hair to make sure she got it the exact way I wanted it. She was amazing and brought hair pin options for me to choose from. She is so sweet, down to earth and kind. I could not have imagined working with anyone else. I also hired two assistants to do my bridesmaids and mothers hair and makeup and everyone was SO happy and pleased. She was so flexible with her trial time with me, her communication was amazing (always got back to me and was also so willing to help in her emails) and her and her team could not have been more professional and kind. I would 100% recommend Liz and her team for your wedding hair and makeup. Thank you Liz!

I just can’t say enough good things about Liz. Her and her team did hair and makeup on my bridesmaids, my mother, and me on the day of my wedding. I was the most beautiful that I have ever been in my entire life all because of her! And everyone in my bridal party looked like they belonged on the runway. They didn’t just do good work (like you would expect for prom or other special events). These girls (especially Liz) performed professional hair and makeup services unlike any I have ever seen in real life. Absolutely beautiful! I received compliments unlike I would have ever expected, even as the bride.
And what I loved about Liz in particular was her amazing versatility! I had a few different ideas for hair and makeup in mind that I wanted Liz to try on me leading up to the wedding. I wanted to see an edgy look, a more glamorous look, and a natural look. Each look that she did looked completely different from the other but outstanding in it’s own respect. She is so talented, and can make you look any way that you want. She doesn’t just have one «bridal» look that she creates for everyone.
The day of the wedding couldn’t have gone more smoothly. I even added an extra hair and makeup the morning of the wedding that she accommodated without any problem at all! She was timely, efficient, and brilliant. And so was each girl on her team that she brought with her.
I should also mention how incredibly reliable she is. About 6 months out from my wedding, she found out that her husband would be graduating at the same time that she was scheduled to do wedding hair and makeup for me. She easily could have canceled and or referred me to one of the girls on her team, but she did neither. She assured me again and again that I was the top priority to her and that she would never cancel on one of her brides.
I just recently found out that Liz will be opening a studio where she will do hair and makeup. Two of my bridesmaids and I will be making appointments with Liz early next month to learn how to do our makeup the way that she did it the day of my wedding. I was just that good! Thank you sooooo much to Beauty on Location by Liz!

Oh my gosh! Liz was the perfect choice for my wedding! She was extremely flexible with trial dates and times, AND she was even able to do a trial hair and make run for my mom. Furthermore, the day of there was so much chaos and I had more bridesmaids interested in her services (of course after witnessing her magic) and she totally found a way to accommodate all of us! She’s so calm and genuinely kind. I love her.
As for her hair and make up… Just incredible! I asked for a difficult hairdo and she totally made sure it stayed in place all night! I never had to do any make up retouches either. I recommend her sooooo highly! Do it! You won’t regret having Liz make you look even more gorgeous!

Liz was wonderful to work with. I planned my wedding in 2 months and she didn’t even bat an eye. She was available on my date and I booked her immediately after I did the trial run. She was flexible when I needed to drop two people from my original contract (two girls changed their mind last minute about wanting hair and makeup). She showed up on time with her assistant and they were courteous, professional, and fun. They did a great job.

This is a review long over due. I used Beauty on Location by Liz years ago, when I got married very very early. We were to have a ceremony before a brunch and Liz and her team meet us at the crack of dawn. Her girls were very professional and whipped through my entourage. The products used were great, and the hairstyles held up well. She’s very considerate and does a great job making you beautiful on your special day.
Verdict: Forget the regular hours at a beauty salon, Liz can do it all, on call!
