I found a dress at Nordstrom rack right before I went on vacation. The rack could not alter my dress in time. I remembered seeing a tailor in the Safeway shopping center so I stopped by. I’M SOGLAD I DID. The shopkeeper was so nice and friendly, but most importantly she was able to alter my dress in time for my trip and it fits like a dream! Thank you bella tailors, you have a customer for life!

This review is for shoe repair only. I’ve brought a few pairs of shoes in for repair and they have done a great job. The shop is closed on Sundays and open M-Sat from 9 am-6pm. Each time I have been greeted promptly and once I let them know what work I am expecting, they let you know how the repair is and typically the repair is ready within a week’s time. One thing to note is that the store is cash only. You may be asked to pay ahead of time(odd to me) or you can opt to pay when you return for pick up. Also, there is no signage with the name of the business, there is just a sign for alterations/shoe repair. The official business name has changed from June’s Tailor to Bella’s Tailor as well. I’m adding my review here, since it was originally under June’s Tailor, but this business is now Bella’s Tailor. On the 3 pairs of shoes that I have taken in, they have done a good job and I am very pleased. I like it a bit better than the place I used to go to in Cherry Creek.

I noticed this alterations shop was in the same complex as another store I needed to go to, so I thought I’d save myself a trip and try her out. I wish I hadn’t. First issue is that she’s VERYEXPENSIVE. I had a pair of jeans shortened, a jacket zipper repaired, and a silk sleeping bag liner sewn where it had ripped a bit. After a week I went to pick them up and the jeans looked great, but the zipper was still broken and she hadn’t done much of anything with the silk liner. I was essentially charged $ 39 for my jeans to be shortened, as the other two things on the list were not done to completion. My fiancée had her wedding dress altered a bit and it cost her $ 310. I don’t know much about wedding dress alterations, but that’s quite a bit more than we were quoted elsewhere.
