The food for lunch buffet is good. They have a different menu as compared to other restaurant. The food is very tasty. Would recommend it.

Had the opportunity in my Denver trip to eat food at this wonderful restaurant. This was late afternoon, odd 3:30 pm on a weekend holiday. Plus stars to those folks that they were open. Met with the owner, he was very welcoming. Gave us suggestions for the food to pick. We got paneer Kadhi a little on the spicy side since my Indian blood craves heat in my food. That was excellent, also off her entrées like korma and kofta were amazing too. I do recommend the wheat Roti for the health freaks out there, amazing. And yes we ordered mango lassi, pretty good. Would come again next time I’m in Denver.

Despite having had great Indian food around the world(London, Sydney, Chicago, New York…), we somehow stumbled on literally the best Indian we’ve had when we randomly walked by Bombay Clay Oven one day. The flavors are unique, bright, and fresh – oftentimes Indian feels heavy, with sauces full of butter that are obviously premade. BCO’s dishes somehow always have a bright flavor. The place is clean, service is pleasant, and it’s been a local establishment for something like 20 years. Marshall, the owner, clearly takes pride in his family business.

I went here for the first time last weekend and got the lunch buffet. The server(he may have been a manager?) was so helpful. He recommended beers, and when the fresh naan came out of the oven, he walked over to our table and offered us some so we didn’t have to get up and get it from the buffet. The food was good, not like, knock your socks off good, but still good. I will absolutely be back.

Great buffet food, very cozy inside, really comfortable outside seating with both umbrellas and gazebo for rain. Fresh and spacious venue. Great service and tasty drinks. Plus they seem to be investing in renovation/expansion Will host more meetings here.

Are you: + Looking for mouth watering Chicken Tikka Masala? This is your place! + Trying to find a generous lunch special? This is your place! At $ 9.99 their all you can eat lunch buffet is a steal! + Hunting for a restaurant with plenty of gluten free options? This is your place! + Looking for a chill place to relax to some live classical Indian sitar and sarod music? This is your place! *On Friday’s and Saturday’s from 6pm to close! I have been dying to give them a try since my sampling at the Cherry Creek North Food and Wine Festival! I finally stopped in for lunch and chose to take advantage of the $ 9.99 lunch buffet, so I could sample a variety of items on their menu. Everything was delicious and seasoned perfectly. Their Chicken Tikka Masala is the stuff of daydreams! Such a fabulous mixture of exotic spices. Add some fresh warm Naan and it was like a party in my mouth. The Samosa were like little baked potato balls with other seasonings. The Vindaloo reminded me of a beef stew with a delicious kick. The Chai Tea is brewed in house and some of the best I’ve had; though not as «spicy» as I tend to like, but that helped balance the already flavorful foods. They even have some more«private» seating alcoves along the wall with curtains, embroidered tapestries, pillows, and a low table for your more authentic experience. I’ve definitely found my go to, craving satisfying, Indian cuisine!

I’ve had dinner here once and the lunch buffet once and both times I thought the food was quite good. Their lunch buffet(about $ 10) is probably the best lunch value in Cherry Creek. While I’m not usually a big fan of buffets, I do like them at Indian restaurants just because of the nature of the food. I can’t imagine eating an entire order of saag paneer, for example, but a nice spoonful of it with my naan as well some of the other offerings provides a nice assortment. Just as a note, I noticed one reviewer mentioned that the food was bland. Maybe they went on a off day, because I didn’t find that to be the case at all. It was all very flavorful. The restaurant is attractive and clean and they have a great patio for dining alfresco on a gorgeous afternoon. Service was friendly and drinks were kept refilled. The only(minor) complaint that I have is that they don’t have unsweetened iced tea. While the tea they do offer was tasty, I really don’t like to drink sugary drinks(I get enough calories from my food, thank you very much). I just tried the lunch buffet recently for the first time and did eat out on the patio(it was truly a lovely day). In a nutshell, I will be eating there again soon.

We had the lunch buffet and two mango lassis today. We were really looking forward to trying a new Indian buffet but we’re very disappointed! Everything we got was bland! How do they even make Indian food bland? Saag paneer, tandoori chicken and chicken tikka masala were the core of my meal. The paneer was marginal but didn’t even have cubes of cheese in it! The tikka masala had zero spice flavor at all! Zero! The mango Lassi had ice in it so it quickly diluted. We overheard the waitress give incorrect restaurant hours to an elderly couple. I went 20 minutes without a water refill. The women’s bathroom had chunks of feces that wouldn’t flush away. I only gave it two stars because it didn’t make me sick. I will never return.

We go to Bombay on occasion and generally enjoy the food despite the service always being slow. We have eaten there in the freezing cold when the heat was out in the middle or December and have still returned since the food is decent. We attempted to go last night and were very disgusted by the fact that the men’s urinal and sink in the restroom were out of order. When I informed my husband that I wanted to leave the waitress rudely interrupted and said well we have a sink in the kitchen men can use. So I said the male employees and guests would need to leave the restroom with dirty hands and walk thru dining room into the far end of the kitchen to wash there hands and that is acceptable to you and she rolled her eyes at me and walked away. So needless to say we will not be returning. Not sure that is acceptable if the food and safety board were to investigate.

This is by far, the BEST Indian food I’ve ever had. The portions are a good size. They aren’t tiny and they aren’t massive. I regularly leave with leftovers. Every time my best friend is in down, we make sure to stop here for lunch, no matter how short the trip. I recently moved to Lowry and am beyond excited to live within delivery distance! I finally ordered to go tonight and expected a long wait, because that’s just how Indian food tends to be. The quote time was 45 – 60 minutes. I recorded it in less than thirty. I believe the gentleman that delivered it was one of the owners and he seemed to recognize me. Which honestly made it that much better. I can’t imagine any reason to not love this place. I’ll definitely be ordering delivery more often.

Ordered this from Bite Squad, had vindaloo with chicken(on the lowest spice level) and plain naan. We paid $ 50 for two orders of food that were so small they were almost enough for 1 person. This was a serious issue until we took our first bites: it was so spicy, I couldn’t eat it. If this was their idea of «medium» spice, then their«Ultra» spice must be a bucket of gasoline. I can’t believe I paid so much money for so little food that was so **** spicy it couldn’t be eaten.

I really love this place. I found a 241 with the Entertainment Book but it was print only so I couldn’t use it, so I was kind of bummed. The waitress said she couldnt hook me up, it was her second day. The food was worth it anyway, it was delicious and I would totally recommend it. I’ll probably be back.

Dinner was an absolute disaster. This place is completely disorganized. It took over an hour and a half to get our order. They apologized for the delay. The restaurant was almost full(Friday night), but none of the table turned while we were there. It didn’t look like much food was coming out of the kitchen, period. Extremely small portions, very expensive and didn’t really taste that great.

I don’t know all that much about Indian food, but I can say that I am a fan of Bombay Clay Oven. The first thing you notice walking in is the atmosphere. It’s warm and comforting, elegant and laid-back. There is a whole wall of private booths where you can sit with your feet tucked under the table(shoes off) behind a curtain. They also have a large patio with lights and shade… perfect for Happy Hour(which, by the way, is M-F 3 – 6 pm). To this Indian food-novice, I thought the dishes were amazing. I had the vegetable tikka masala, which was perhaps more tomato-y than other tikka masalas I’ve had, but I can’t really say whether that was more authentic or less. My husband had a lamb chef’s special with a name I can’t remember or pronounce, but the sauce was incredible. I could eat it all day. Nothing was overly spicy but it was all very flavorful. Try the garlic naan on the side.

Been going to this restaurant for the past 15 years. It’s always been a family favorite! A family-run business, with a gorgeous patio overlooking Cherry Creek North. The inside has beautiful, Indian décor and separate cushioned booths in addition to regular table seating. I highly recommend the tikka masala, pan fried fish with curry, masala dosa, and mango lassi. It is all reasonably priced, especially for being in Cherry Creek. I often come to the lunch buffet which can’t be beat, $ 9.99 for all you can eat with a great assortment and variety.

They have the best chicken tikka masala in town. It’s creamy with a lovely, spicy kick, and a generous portion of chicken. Get extra rice as you’ll need it. Their garlic naan dipped in the raita was equally delicious. Our meals came with a complimentary bowl of lentil soup. I normally dislike lentils, but I tried the soup anyway and ended up eating it all. That’s how good it is! I’ll definitely be coming back for more fantastic food. FYI — I was informed by the owner that there is free restaurant parking in the back of the building. Just cut through the alley to find it.

Yummy Indian food! I had the chicken curry at the Unilocal room and board Denver scavenger hunt and it was really good. I will definitely try this place again I do love garlic naan

We stopped in for lunch after a bit of Cherry Creek shopping and left full but slightly let-down. It took over half an hour for our food to arrive even though we were one of just a handful of tables. Lamb tikka masala and dosa were par for the course. My wife had a sampler plate with saag paneer, aloo gobi and malai kofta. The saag was a little bland and the aloo gobi was really, really sour.

«Chipotle Opening Fall 2015.» Bombay Clay Oven will be closed soon. This place has all of the symptoms of a dying restaurant. Empty dining room and yet still very slow service. Servers watching the game instead of focusing on the customer. Off the clock employees hanging out at the bar. Small portions at high prices. Mediocre quality. Many menu items not available. Good bye Bombay Clay Oven, you will not be missed.
