Cameron Motel

I booked this hotel because 1) it was the cheapest I could find for how many days we needed to stay and 2) they allow animals. Usually we stay at Motel 6 because they are very pet friendly, but we needed to save money. Turns out they don’t even want to allow dogs. We were constantly harassed about paying a pet fee even though when we checked in with our animals they didn’t say anything about it until over a day later. Before we were even able to discuss the owners issues one owner said to «kick us the f*** out» to one of her employees while my husband was on the line. We were quiet, respectful and clean. This place is loud, extremely dirty. There was mold on the walls, ceiling and all over the shower. The towels feel like sandpaper. Our non smoking room had an ajoining door to a smoking room which was taped over with electrical tape. Speaking of electrical tape there were split cords wrapped in it laying under the wall floorboard heaters. Huge problem!

I would give this place a zero if I could! I have slept on the hood of a hummer for a year in Iraq and would much rather be overseas then stay at this «hotel»!!! The owner’s wife will scream at you for the littlest things! The staff here at the front desk is very polite, but will sit back and let you get screamed at and smile. This place is a death trap also! Sockets spark and lights don’t work! This place should be shut down!!!
