Cherry Creek Electrolysis

I have very mixed feelings about electrolysis here. I originally saw Flo for my electrolysis treatments, and she was extremely quick to remove all my hairs every time. At the end of each, however, I felt an extremely sharp jolt that was extremely hard to take at times (more on that in a moment). I didn’t think anything of it, as I had no idea what electrolysis was supposed to feel like and she is certified (something that isn’t required in Colorado). Somewhat recently, however, all the online appointments that were open for booking seemed to be with Theresa and I was unable to see Flo. During my session with her, I noticed a lot less hairs felt like they were worked on, and she seemed to finish much faster, but I was charged the full amount so I just shrugged it off as the pain killers I took beforehand being particularly effective that day. When I got home and looked in the mirror, however, I realized that she missed half the hair that was supposed to be removed, and my back and eyebrows especially looked like they had not been touched. Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed and I immediately tried to get an appointment with Flo. Since she was booked out for weeks, I decided to look for a new electrologist, and I must say that I am glad I did, as I found one who has more availability and who takes more time on each hair (which surprisingly makes electrolysis a lot less painful, not to mention more effective in the long run). The difference for me was like night and day. That being said, Flo (and the other lady whose name I cannot recall at the moment) are extremely sweet and personable. Theresa is not someone I would describe as being warm, per say, but she is not mean or anything. I personally will not be returning due to my experience and the inability to find certification for Theresa, who seems to be the only one I am able to get appointments with.

Amy is great! She made me feel at ease and comfortable during my sessions. She is super friendly and gets the job done quick! Highly recommend this place!

So thankful to have found this place! I turned to Unilocal!after moving to Denver to find an electrologist to finish up my underarm areas I’ve been working on for over a year. I first tried someone with a home office who had more reviews, and it turned out to be an unclean, painful (literally!) experience.
My first visit to Cherry Creek Electrolysis was VERY different from the other 2 providers I have seen in the past. They are just as clean as you’d expect to see at a salon or even a doctor’s office. All of their providers are board certified (Did you know that is NOT a requirement in Colorado? Who knows what you’d get elsewhere!).
The biggest difference I saw was that their equipment is new. I scheduled a 75 minute appointment, which is about how long it takes to clear the remaining hairs on both underarms. She finished in 30 minutes, and only charged me for that time! Even more amazing is how little it hurt compared to every other time I’ve had it done (more than 20x with 3 other providers)! I could hardly feel it, and it was still effective, and far quicker. I’m still in disbelief!
I’m going back again, and have even decided to add on another area, since it’s so quick and painless now! =)

I just went here for the first time because laser hasn’t worked all that well for me (and it’s expensive!) and the location was super convenient. I had a consultation with Flo and she worked on me for all of 15 minutes. It *almost* felt like a spa treatment!
Flo was very straightforward and I loved having such a quick appointment. I’ll be going back every other week for a few months and definitely look forward to it!

I just finished my first appointment here. Amy was phenomenal. Informative, caring, sensitive. She communicated regularly regarding my comfort level, as well as what to expect and how the process works. I’m beginning some very intense hair removal treatment, and i look forward to working with her for the next several months.
