Cherry Creek Framing

This place was so flexible and helpful. I live in Gilbert, Arizona and needed to frame 8 large photos and have them delivered in Denver. Lisa was so easy to work with and even delivered the photos for me. The whole staff went above and beyond and made the process easy. They took payment over the phone and kept in constant communication through out the framing process. Thanks again to Lisa and everyone! Seriously, if you need anything framed in Denver, call them and you won’t be disappointed.

TL;DR: Cherry Creek Framing does fantastic work that’s reasonably priced. And they are lovely people to work with to boot.

It starts several years ago at a shop on Upper Haight in San Francisco.
Scratch that.
It actually starts in the early 1980s when Sir Nicholas and his mother had a Saturday morning tradition of making pancakes and watching old Godzilla movies. Needless to say, he grew up a major fan of all things Godzilla.
Fast forward to 2010 when we enter the Super 7 store on Haight Street in SF and are encountered with a lot, and I mean A LOT, of Godzilla stuff including one giant (5 feet wide, 7 feet tall giant) old, original movie poster for Godzilla versus Mechagodzilla. Nick wanted this poster very badly. But, the shop wasn’t selling it. #sadfaceSirNicholas
Fast forward to December 2015 when I’m back in SF for work and head to this shop to see if there are any last minute holiday gifts I should purchase for Nick. The poster is, of course, still there and on a whim I ask yet again if they would sell it. Not this one they say, but it turns out they have another version at their main office and they will sell it to me!!! Rejoicing on my part commences.
Upon returning to Denver I receive my package and then need to find a place that will frame this massive poster and ideally before Christmas which is about a week away.
Luckily I stumbled upon Cherry Creek Framing and my eye was caught by the review that said that the reviewer had a very large item framed there. I called the shop right away and lo and behold they were willing to try to help me! I know this was above and beyond what many other framers would have done because I did speak with other shops who all told me that the timing wouldn’t work because of the size of the frame and the holidays, etc., etc.
Lisa, the shop owner, was so helpful in every way, from educating me on how to hang the poster to picking a frame. And she took on the project personally to make sure it was finished before Christmas so I could give it to my husband for a holiday gift. And to be honest I’m not sure who’s face lit up more on Christmas morning — my husband’s or our three and half year old son.
The poster was perfect, the framing was gorgeous, and he insisted on hanging it up immediately that day.
I can’t thank Lisa and her team enough for working so hard to make this possible for me and for doing such a wonderful job.
If you are looking for a custom framing shop I highly, highly recommend Cherry Creek Framing. And if you are looking for artwork they also have an incredible selection of vintage posters and other artwork as well.
Also, the shop dog is just about the friendliest, most adorable animal I’ve had the pleasure of meeting.

Super friendly, helpful, and affordable. I’ve been there twice; most recently to get glass and a clip-​on setup for a print. Custom-​cut glass & mat, plus the clips to attach it, were less than $ 10 total. Recommended.

Best place in Denver to get your framing done. They have very helpful and friendly staff who do impressive, professional work at a reasonable price. I’ve also gotten a few posters from their diverse poster selection. Highly recommend!

Beautiful new location at 2830 east 3^rd ave with much more space. Large framing area with huge selection– they do everything including small items like annual work group photos for me up to big posters. Big gallery space where they show vintage posters — some back to late 19^th early 20thc — they are members of the trade association (ivpda) — very competitive prices for both art and framing.
