Chez Cheveux

Hooray! A haircut done by a professional? I never get to go get real cuts (I usually do them myself) but I was glad I purchased the Groupon for a cut & deep condition!
I called to place my appointment (no online booking) and mentioned the Groupon right away. I was slightly bummed, but not surprised, to hear that the Groupon only saved me $ 3. But it did introduce me to an experienced stylist who I think I’ll keep going to.
She gave a relaxing wash & deep condition with perfectly warm water, and suggested a nice little tweak to my usual boring hairstyle. I liked that, since I don’t know $&!% about hair.

I bought the Groupon for Cut & Color, I got to the salon and the lady is like Oh I didn’t even prepare for a color today. (ok) Then went on to chastise the fact that I had used box color in the past and warned me that the box color could cause the new dye to ruin my hair (umm…) When I expressed my newfound hesitation she insisted and began painting my roots with color. She repeatedly used phrases like «Oh I hope this color does what I want it too» «I hope this turns out». Then had a panic attack when my hair got lighter in the roots than she intended and slammed my head in the sink to wash the bleach out. Three hours of her working my hair was enough stress for a lifetime. My hair was not ruined as she made it seem like it would be, but I will not be going back.

Going to get a cut and color is a really fun experience when you visit Sharon at Chez Cheveaux. Visiting Sharon, you can feel comfortable that your stylist understands you and that scissors and color are in the hands of an artist. It is a visit to real salon, cozy and owned by the person working magic on your hair. You walk out feeling uplifted, refreshed, and happy. Sharon loves her work and clients. You will only come out looking and feeling better than when you arrived.

Sharon is the best ever! I always walk in with an Afro on my head and leave feeling gorgeous than ever! I never know why I will in with ideas when she clearly knows what looks good and works every time!

Best gift I ever bought for my Girlfriend. She has not been happier and I’m glad she has finally found a place that she has confidence with.

I am so pleased with my hair cut !! I was able to make an appointment within two days from me calling. Sharon got me in right away and I loved the vibe of her salon. It’s small, yet cozy. Very personable. She had 90’s rock music playing on her phone && I loved it !! She is hip, educated && listens very well! I showed her a picture of my hair a year ago and I wanted the same style back. BAM! Within twenty minutes I looked exactly the same from the photo I showed her. Sharon was awesome && I cannot wait to go back!

I was excited to try my groupon for this hair salon. She is incredibly bubbly and super sweet. She wants to make the customer happy and definitely did with my hair. There is a groupon deal that she will honor but to make life easier for her and you just call and mention the deal BEFORE you pay and set it up ahead of time. She is suite 101 and make sure you go into the Phenix Salon Suites for the appointment. She is the first suite on the left.
