If you are a very dark coffee drinker this may not be your«cup of tea». but the quality of the bean is excellent in both Sumatran and Nicaraguan. I suggest highly you buy the Hario Skerton hand grinder($ 49) due to it’s ability to grind quality grinds equal to a $ 1000 machine. but YOU have to be patient and willing to grind the coffee.(It takes on average on very fine one minute to grind for one large cup of coffee.(16 oz.) I also HIGHLY recommend the Aeropress Coffee and Expresso maker($ 25) for making the coffee as it eliminates much of the acid in the coffee it seems. While I have yet to try the other beans but I am confident they also will be of equal quality and value.

I would suggest they should add a smokers lounge with bean bag chairs and a petting zoo.

This is my favorite Colorado coffee company. Had my 1st cup at the winter distance series race, and nothing beats it. It turns me on they use pure water! Other guys almost ALL use tap. I hope you guys open more locations NW of Denver, but I will still drive the extra miles for Coda.

Coda Coffee is one of my favorite stops while grocery shopping around Denver. They always deliver and I have yet to dislike a recommendation from anyone there. At the very least, check by the store seasonally to enjoy some of their selections for that time frame. All coffees are roasted on the premises and most of them roasted to my preference, light to medium roast. I have also purchased raw beans as a gift for someone who roasts their own. If you are a coffee snob– don’t miss getting out to Coda!

First, I have to say, I LOVECODACOFFEE. They are, by far, the best bean roasters I’ve found and I’ve been a coffee snob since I had to order my own French press and whole beans from European catalogs. That said, their coffees do not agree with my constitution *at all.*(No details necessary, right?) I have tried their light roasts, dark roasts, South American, Indonesian, African, and all have the same effect on me. I’ve had to go back to Daz Bog, which has some great roasts, but it’s certainly no Coda. *sigh* Tip: If you’re searching them out at this location, they’re up the left side of the industrial buildings — I found them by following my nose to the roasting. Also, it was a bit cheaper to buy their beans online than onsite.
