The coffee was good and cookie even had a great flavor. However, the scowl of «I hate my job» from the staff and the cookie having a texture similar to rocks from the mesozoic era kinda hurt this place for me.

This place is mediocrity in coffee house clothing. I figured it would be bad when I could not distinguish their oranges for sale from lemons. The «dark roast» tastes like tainted hot water. Do yourself a favor and take the 2.65 that they charge for what they call a cup of coffee over to the Caribou Coffee that is just down the way.

Poor setup for getting products out and hopeless, English challenged staff who can’t seem to get a decent espresso drink out in a reasonable amount of time make this your last option for coffee or anything else.

This place has a pretty inconvenient set-up. The place is too narrow, so the inbound line is always doing a dance with the folks trying to make their way back out. Also, the line passes right by the self-serve coffee stand so if you’re just getting coffee, you have to pay and then «cut» in line to fill your cup. It’s a poorly conceived system resulting in a lot of people saying «excuse me, pardon me» (the polite ones anyway) as they manuever around in a tight space. The coffee is okay, but the flatbread breakfast sandwich was pretty bad.

I’m afraid the few lattes that I have tried here are warm milk and espresso. For some reason, the barista here does not get the milk consistency right. I simply threw away my latte and walked to Starbucks at gate 80.

Haymarket, VA

Coming through Denver International Airport on the way home — hit the old standby on Concourse B for caffeine — the Coffee Beanery. I noted as I was standing in line they now are also selling pizza slices. Interesting combo.
Ordered a double shot iced latte and a bottle of water. Got those caffeine levels back up!
