I had fabulous caring service by Leola Wells at the B concourse store… she genuinely cared about her job and her customers. I bought aleve and she was concerned for me and is a kind caring person. Traveling would be much more pleasant if more people provided the level of service that Leola did and does.

I will add my negative comments to the queue for these places. I wanted change to tip my shuttle driver, probably related to the cashier, and bought an item for $ 4.45. Sorry no change for a $ 5, as she waived a wad of dollar bills in front of my. If I could have just held onto my money, and refused the sale! Fck them, and Fck them so happy to see their friends walking by so they practically ignore you. The Pinoy next door at Caribou was super nice and easily made change for a $ 5. They won’t miss my money, since there are plenty of polite suckers going through the airport.

Headphones broke after 2 minutes of use. They said they do not do returns and were very cold people.

Doesn’t make pricing available and wanted to charge over $ 4 for a Kind Bar. Said no refunds once they opened the register. Really? Smells illegal.

The absolute WORST experience I have ever had. This store sold me a phone charger that didn’t work and I went back in within 5 minutes and they basically said too bad. They took my $ 31.99 and basically told me it is my loss. They even tried it in the store and they saw it didn’t work and they still said too bad. What kind of companies does the airport allow to screw their customers like this. Denver Airport should be ashamed to be associated with such a store. Don’t buy anything from them. I am sure the first post on here is from the owner

My husband purchased a WSJ for me and when he got back to the waiting area with it, I pointed out that we had already read it yesterday, so he promptly went back to the store and tried to return it. This being Christmas Day, you’d think the super rude attendant, Yebertal Nekurian, would have gladly returned his money. Not 5 minutes had gone by between buying the paper and my husband bringing it back. But no!!! My hubby received this snarky reply: «it is your fault– you should have checked the date of the paper». I am tired of rude attendants who try to screw you out of every dollar. On Christmas Day for Pete’s sake. If this is customer service, DIA has a long way to go in choosing vendors that make the flying experience more tolerable. I would totally avoid this store and pick one of the many others we saw– with cashiers that had a smile on their face.

***There are several Connections shops located throughout the Denver International Airport, but this is one of the big ones located in the United Terminal near the food court; they feature a wide variety of snacks, drinks and magazines(this month’s Denver Magazine featured the top 25 best restaurants in Denver); they also carry Colorado and nature-esque souvenirs and gifts like chocolates(touristy brands and also See’s); overall, this is a decent though expensive shop to pick up some in-flight goodies or a souvenir*** I am not sure what the parking situation is, but I imagine parking at Denver International Airport is expensive like other airports; this convenience shop is located past security check so it is only available for air travelers.
