My daughter(19) and I had an excellent shopping experience at Coquette. We had wandered in and out of a half dozen North Cherry Creek boutiques without buying anything before entering this store. The owner and her employee were wonderful. They asked questions about what we were looking for, sized us up, and I don’t think either my daughter and I ever touched a rack. We ended up buying over $ 1,200 of high quality merchandise of exactly what we were looking for. If the customer is prepared to spend money, this is exactly what the boutique shopping experience should be — fun, attended to, with good music playing in the background. Well done.

I love this store because I can ALWAYS find things I like + the are so nice and helpful. I especially loved the Atina Cristina top I bought from them. I am not sure why they give this store 3 $$$ because their prices were very reasonable.

I loved the selections at this store — a little more colorful and artsy. I am in my late 30’s and definitely think it is a store for all ages of women, not just 50 and up contrary to what another reviewer said. The saleswoman was so nice and personable. I do not like the return policy, but at least the girl told me about it.

I love when my husband takes me shopping once every five years. He has great taste. While we were roaming the streets of Cherry Creek last Sunday he spotted a really pretty top he wanted me to try. I thought it was expensive so went to the sale area. I found a great top. Lucky me I got both tops and a pair of pants. What a great day it was. The sales lady was very helpful. She has helped me in the past. I think the clothes are great and the sales rack has some good deals. This is becoming one of my favorite new boutiques. Can’t wait to go back.

The good news — they have vey interesting clothing. The bad news– hidden return policy(tiny sign in front of cash register and behind a shelf). I frequent Denver to visit family and found this store on my last trip there. I went in and not only foud a dress for my son’ weddig(although had to come back the next day because I could not decide between 2 different ones) but also ended up buying about $ 1000 worth of clothes. I was helped by the owner who could not be nicer and more helpful! The next morning I went back and bought the dress. Later that day I decided to return a jacket and whe I told the salesperson what I wnated to do, she became very rude and said it is store policy to only give store credit. I explained that I only come to Denver a few times a year and I had bought $ 1000 worth of clothes the day before and the dress that morning(which she could have applied to the credit). She refused to call the owner and pointed to the tiny little sign hidden near the bottom of the cash register. She was so rude that another slaesperson came over and apologized and did everything she could to help. I(and all my relatives) will NEVER go into the store again. I am writing this so that the owner knows what happened.

This review is based on two visits. Both completely different. So I split the difference and gave the store a 3 star rating. Here goes: VISIT #1 Not sure how this store stays in business. With the uptight cougars and golddiggers of Cherry Creek, you would think that they might want to dress a bit… younger? And no, I’m not a least bit bitter that I am neither a cougar or golddigger. The clothing seems a bit Red Hat society. I think I aged about 50 years when I stepped in and started looking around. Everything is priced around $ 80 – 100, but it’s clothing one might find in an Estate sale. Have I driven it home yet that these clothes are for an older crowd? Don’t worry, I’m not some jaded youngster who hates the world. I’m just serious about fashion, The jewelry section was a bit gaudy. Nothing caught my eye. The owner was nice and left me alone to shop. Kudos to her. I think she may have wondered why I was in here shopping, but oh well. VISIT #2 That was my first thoughts on this store, when I visited about 3 months ago. But I recently passed by this place when in the Cherry Creek hood, and I remembered that I had negative thoughts about the store from awhile ago. Deciding that everyone deserves a second chance, I feel that I was a bit harsh in my critique. The selection has gotten a lot better. Cute cocktail dresses and outfits for the office. I don’t know if I will be back, but if I am, we’ll see if the new inventory matches my first visit or my second. Do with that what you will.
