A crossfit gym with strength as a focus. WODs,(workout of the day) includes a strength exercise and a cardio. The strength could include deadlifts, squats, clean and jerks, pullups, you name it. Then after you feel strong you have to then run a few laps with box jumps or row with thrusters or do some handstand pushups with ring dips. The coaches are attentive and I’m comfortable with the coach per athlete ratio. You don’t have to worry about not having enough space and getting hit by someone else’s barbell. I’ve also judged a few competitions here and the environment is always welcoming. Crossfit people are crazy. I know because I was one of them. I’ve done quite a few WODs here when they first opened. I now focus on Olympic lifts in the back so you’ll see me there doing my own thing, taking over the squat rack. I may cheer you on or yell at you, but we are all one big happy family here. The prices are competitive and the Saturday class is free. There are several platforms to practice on. I can’t wait for jerk boxes.
