I love this place! I always take out of towers here because of its fun mellow vibe. My favorite night is Monday. They’ve got great DJs that mix old school R&B. I love it!!! Thinking about heading there tonight!

Great ambiance! You can order from the Italian sister restaurant and enjoy the great atmosphere and drinks of the bar.

One of my favorite bars in Denver. The art is fun and the staff is friendly. Usually a pretty chill environment during the week– a nice place to wind down after work with friends!

I came with my best friend for some after-dinner drinks. There wasn’t much selection, but the atmosphere was cool, and the bartender was nice. I was just visiting, and I understand there was plenty of options in the areas, so I wonder what makes this place stand out from the rest. I’d be willing to check it out again to discover more of its hidden treasures.

Unintentionally started an evening out at Dada Art Bar and had a great experience. A group of friends and I were planning to eat at Americatus, but we didn’t have a reservation. Instead we were graciously lead back to Dada and informed we could order from the Americatus menu. Turns out we were more in the mood for tacos and ordered from Los Chingones. The bartender provided cocktail suggestions and even made drinks based on our preferences. All in all we enjoyed our time.

I think my expectations were a bit too high for this place. We went for happy hour and it was cool. We couldn’t check out the back art because of an event so perhaps my thoughts could have changed?

I really hate having to write such a bad review for this place, because it seems like a cool concept. But the overall vibe(especially in regards to the bar) were below mediocre. I had been wanting to try this place out for some time now, seeing as it put two of my loves together: art and alcohol. I thought the concept was so awesome, and I thought it would be a really chill place. Unfortunately I thought wrong. I will give the bar credit in that they were fairly busy. But not busy enough that 5 bartenders couldn’t take care of less than 200 people in a bar. I waited about 30 minutes just for someone to even acknowledge me. It was as if all the bartenders purposely didn’t give any of the customers eye contact. The bartender helping me was either drunk or on drugs, because he barely even attempted to get my drink order, and was acting so frantic when there was no reason to act that way. He also had a very vacant look in his frantic behavior. To top it off, after I got my drinks, I discovered there was NO alcohol in it — I ordered doubles, so the taste should be fairly apparent. I had literally just paid $ 20 for a soda water and a diet coke, when I had wanted a double vodka and soda and a double whiskey diet. I went to go complain, and had to wait another 30 minutes just for anyone to acknowledge me. Finally, a bar back, not even a bartender, helped me out and remedied the situation. Later, when it died down(maybe 10 people at the bar, and they were still frantic…,) I tried complaining to the manager, and all I got was a, «It was just an accident, we were really busy.» I’m sorry, but that’s not a good enough excuse. I know this sounds very petty, but for someone like myself who has been in the bar industry for 7+ years, I can’t help but to be very judgmental when it comes to service. The atmosphere was also a bit strange. There wasn’t a pinpoint demographic — it was literally just a cluster of random people. The«dance floor» was extremely small and everyone was packed in there like sardines. They had a DJ who played some eclectic music with no flow. It was like he was randomly picking songs that he liked. Because the place is also an art gallery, everyone was dancing by the art and artwork started falling off the wall. I’m not sure the artists would be so pleased that their hard work was being trampled by drunk people. Overall, it was a terrible experience. It may be different during the day, since it is also an art shop and a coffee shop. But I was thoroughly unimpressed. Their only redeeming factor is the art was beautiful. I would go back solely to buy a piece. Then I would get out as soon as I could thereafter.

High end and classy. I was here for an event, and was impressed by the great food and service. The selection of art is on point. It was well worth the visit.

I’ll have to give this place another try just to get some clarification. The concept is cool, but the execution needs some work. Pros: Cool artsy fartsy stuff on the walls Interesting outdoor patio seating Good amount of indoor seating Two separate rooms with separate DJs to choose from They serve food from Americatus. Yum! Various types of patrons — From Bros to hipsters to the average shmo like me Cons: Slow ass service. If you have three sides of a bar to serve and three bartenders, plus a bar back to keep glasses flowing, how is it that it took over 20min to wave someone down for a drink? Don’t even get me started on trying to tab out. I’m hoping it was just an off night. Two, single-stall, unisex bathrooms for the whole bar. Really? You’ll feel like you’re standing in line for entrance into an exclusive dance club, but it’s just the line for the bathroom. Weak cocktails — when I actually received them

I’ve been to Dada Art Bar once before when my friend’s band was playing. This last time, I decided to follow fellow elites Kenny N. and Jesse H. over after a Unilocal Elite party. It was a Thursday night so Odessa Rose was playing. They are gypsy swing jazz band. Surprisingly, they have a lot of space for dancing in front of the band. They were killing it. A friend of mine bought me an old fashioned. I loved it. It was strong and flavorful. I like whiskey drinks that come with the huge slow melting ice cube in it. Overall, the art on the wall was amazing. The drinks were delicious. The band was excellent. Even the outside patio was full and happening. The service at the bar was a little slow, but other than that, it was good. I can’t wait to come back. Drinks: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4.5

If I could give zero stars I would. I am a professional musician currently on tour and my band was scheduled to play DADA. We found out less than 24 hours before our gig that they had double booked the night. It’s always a bummer when this kind of thing happens, but I could not have imagined a worse way for a venue to handle such a situation. After giving us the runaround on the phone for a few days, we showed up to collect the money they had guaranteed us, only to be met with denial that we had had a confirmed gig there(after initially being met with regret and apologies from them for their error– funny how the mention of money changes that!). After this situation went down we discovered multiple other artists who have been taken advantage of by the management. For a place that is called an «art bar,» you would hope that they would have more respect for artists. On the contrary they seem out of touch with that world and maybe their next venture should be a sports bar. I’m sure the food, drinks, and vibe are great judging by some of the positive reviews here. But I suggest you be wary if you’re looking to give a place your money.

My favorite early 90s bar has been cleaned up and planted in 2015 Denver. Seriously… the aesthetic of this place is exactly what I would have LOVED in 1994, but without the indoor smoking and negative parts of the 90s scene. These are compliments, not complaints. I like DADA. They have a good wine/beer list. The décor is cool. The snacks are good(though who knew that I could say that a serving of nuts and olives could be TOO much? Portion was generous for two people, better suited to four.) The staff are nice and young and hip. But they have never made me feel out-of-place or unwanted despite my Gen X age. I also like their outdoor seating. The small benches along the railing are cool. And their bathrooms are nice.

Met up with a friend on our way to dinner. Friendly service, helpful service. Our Bartender overheard(or guessed) where we were heading for dinner(not hard… Across the street) and suggested some of his favorite things to eat there. I always appreciate this kind of hospitality! The cocktails were bleh… Unimpressive, and not very tasty… I can’t really fault them for that — I should have thought about that when I walked in, and looked at the rest of their clientele. They clearly were not the professional alcoholic I have been evolving into over the past decade, so, I should have stuck with beers, wines or highballs. I blame myself The ambiance is where it got weird… Artsy and sleek, almost a Miami vibe going on with their space… Not sure that I liked it, but not sure that I disliked it… I don’t really like the state of Florida, and this kind of atmosphere is one of the reasons why… That, and alligators terrify me. So… Clearly, my hesitation to appreciate the ambiance was warranted.

Open mic on Wednesday is worth the fun as you’re guaranteed on a hot Summer night to have the breeze whip through the small venue and let your dreams float away with jalapeño infused tequila pouring over the rocks with salt.

Went here last night with my best girlfriend, and I am not sure what I was expecting, but I know this was better! The atmosphere of the bar(the lighting, the crowd) was awesome, the artwork hanging was beautiful, and I loved that someone was painting as we walked in! The bartender was busy and took his time with each customer, which ended with us having to wait a bit but it really seemed like he was engaging with everybody, not slacking or anything. He also recommended a great wine I might not have tried otherwise! I definitely will be back.

Been a few times, and will be back, but I’m catching a theme of fools wantin’ to love this joint, but not bein’ able to. I’m on that tip. The art’s always rad and the people are generally dope– service has been hit or miss. It’s NOT(happily) that there’s some exclusivity with the crew workin’ there, but I’ve never really felt taken care of– like, 3 outta five stars is spot on for service. Nothin’ bad about it whatsoever, but not stellar. Customers aren’t outsiders, but their not really engaged. It’s like seeing stereotypes of millennials happen in front of you. There doesn’t seem to be much passion in the place. A few quirky things stand out, like the framed happy hour menus they plant in front of you at the bar. I’m anxious to check out a show here, and the gin gimlets are made perfectly.

I planned a bday thing for a friend here on Sunday to take advantage of their all-day happy hour on Sundays. Showed up at 1:55pm, waited until 2:15pm(website says they open at 2pm), called and only got voicemail, saw no signs of life inside and finally left to find a different establishment. Walked by a couple of hours later after moving our party elsewhere, and saw that they were open then. Bummer, because we picked this place due to a few things on their menu that sounded delicious(both cocktails and food).

Great bar for a low key, intimate time out. Hosted a fundraiser here and they were super accommodating and helpful. The. At has lots of interesting art on the walls and there was live painting happening. I bought two prints and was able to just add them to my bar tab! Drinks are a bit pricey but well-made and delicious. They had my favorite(Absolut Pears) vodka which was great! I also ordered a grilled cheese which hit the spot. Food is served all night! Overall, venue is in a good location, has nearby parking, good food, good drinks, and is the perfect intimate venue for Denver!

Dada is one of my favorite spots to just come for a great craft drink and relax. On the weekends things get a little crazy here but overall this is a really mellow spot. Definitely try any of the craft drinks they offer, there is one with whiskey and a Tempranillo float(trust me, it’s amazing). They also have a great beer selection and the bartenders are really friendly. Definitely one of my favorite local spots in Denver!

So, this place is pretty awesome and such a perfect addition to Denver. Wine and beer in a chic space surrounded by large scale, powerful pieces if art, and it’s clean open and austere space that lends itself to all sorts of mingling — it’s not a bad set up. In fact it’s a really unique space, indeed! Their charcuterie plate is a la carte and offers all the right cheese board goodies that go perfectly with any wine or beer. I believe other food options are available through their sister establishment, Amerigo, which boasts some pretty delectable Italian eats. I’ll return to DADA for sure!
