DB’s Wine & Liquor

Usually I don’t review liquor stores however my experience at D&B’s was just so stellar I had to. I work right across the street and have often driven by here but have never had need to actually stop in because it’s not really my hood over here. Anyways I found myself in need of a delicious after work beer so I stopped in because it was on the right side of the street and close by and boy am I glad that I did. Sometimes liquor stores selection of craft beers can be lackluster but not D&B. They have a wonderful selection of craft beer, and not just your regular stuff. I even saw some bottles sours!!! *insert wide eyed emoji face* The gentleman I spoke with was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about beer and even gave me a little pro tip that they were getting Pineapple Sculpin in yesterday *insert wide eyes emoji face AGAIN* It really makes me excited when (I’m not sure if he was the owner or manager or who) but the people that work at a beer store are just as excited about the product as I am. You know you will be in good hands and they will be striving to keep all the latest stuff on the shelves! I went in again today to grab that sculpin and there were some other people working and they were just as friendly as the gentleman from yesterday and equally as excited about pineapple sculpin, which I am enjoying as we speak and it pretty good! There’s a late pineapple flavor but it’s not sweet like one would expect. Hard to explain probably why I’m not a cicerone… but I digress! I implore you to get over to this place and check it out you won’t be sorry, cuz I certainly know I’ll be back. Thanks for making my day guys!

Staff was awesome and a great selection of craft beers! Immediately off the highway and easy to get to. Plus the 5% off when you check in!

Small store but has a pretty good selection. Staff is always friendly. I wouldn’t go out of my way for DB’s but if you’re in the area or driving past its worth a stop in to grab something real quick.
Plus almost everyone that works there likes the Blackhawks. So that is a plus. haha.

They had the the booze we were looking for too and a surprisingly good selection of beer for the small space.

As long as they’ve got what we’re looking for, we won’t go anywhere else. It works, since they’ve always got what we’re looking for. Especially the margarita freezer pops. The guys were extremely kind when we suffered a serious mishap in front of the store, and we found a reasonably-​priced good bottle of champagne to celebrate with. The people here make DB’s the best.

Surprising selection for such a small space, but don’t come here looking for that rare specialty beer, wine or liquor. For me this rating is all about the service. Every time I leave DB’s I have a smile because of the great interactions with the awesome staff.

Super friendly staff and good prices

For a little liquor store these guys have a great selection, a frequent buyer program and super competitive prices. If you are in the ‘hood I suggest going there vs. getting ripped off at the liquor stores with the bullet proof glass.
The staff is super helpful, they get great local craft beers and ciders that you can only find at applejack or argonaut normally. This is my normal go to liquor store.

There is a lot of delicious beer packed into this little liquor store! Alongside your typical domestics, you will find a good variety of imports and craft beer… including several Colorado beers, Short’s Brewery out of Michigan and my personal favorite, Boulevard out of Kansas City. The owners and staff are all extremely friendly and quick to help if you’re looking for something in particular. I find the prices to be very reasonable here. Definitely my favorite little local liquor store (say that 5 times fast)!

This was re-​opened I believe a couple of months ago. You would not think that this converted gas station would but have a ton of great beer… but they do, from Sessions to Chimay they have something for everyone
The owner is very friendly and knows his beer, and if there is something he doesn’t have and you want just ask. They also do a rewards program.
