Denver Kickball Coalition

I went to go play «real kickball» all I found was a bunch of drunks in skimpy clothing running around like idiots.

These people have no idea what they are doing. AND, they don’t allow bunting?! How is someone like me supposed to get on base?

Thank God Denver Kickball Coalition came around and took this game out of middle schools and put it back where it belonged — in the hands of people that can legally drink beer while playing and think that what you wear to play the game is just as important as if you can actually play the game.
I never realized how much I missed the camaraderie team sports provide until I joined Team Hi-​Dive and they let me wear a dress when I kick balls.
Plus this organization not only «supports drunk people running around in the hot, arid summer air» they also have fundraising and charity events and get 20 & 30 somethings together weekly in an active event. And if you think kickball is «easy» I’ll have you know it was hard to walk for about 2 days after my first practice. And if you pitch it’s basically like doing lunges for an hour and a half.
The games are fun to play and fun to watch and whoever wins at the end gets the magical Golden Boot as a prize. Man, I’d like to touch the boot.
