One of the better beer festivals around. Not so big that you’re spending most of the time in a line, but two floors of beer means plenty to drink. Add this to your list!

Shame to see Crooked Stave run out so quickly. It’s ok, they would have been here in spirit, but they’ve sold their souls to afford sounding cool and French.

This was a very fun event. It was not crowded and the short lines moved quickly. I honestly did not have a «bad» taste of beer all afternoon. I appreciated the number of Saisons and special offerings. Best of all, the bang for the buck factor at this event was off the chart. I will definitely be back again.

I understand the appeal behind attending GABF and the like. But, I gotta be honest here. All those people and all those lines in exchange for a slurp of beer makes me a little twitchy in the eyes. And so when I heard of the Denver(Only) Beer Festival I was equally intrigued and scared. Could it be possible that I could attend a beer festival, taste beers, and enjoy it? The answer was a resounding yes! I have to hand it to the people that put this event together. They did so, so many things right: — The didn’t oversell, even though I’m certain they could have. There were occasional lines, but nothing crazy and I was able to sample a beer from every brewery within about 2 hours.(I wasn’t driving, don’t judge.) — You gotta love the Denver only aspect! — The tasting glasses were a great size. — They introduced me to a chicken and waffle sandwich(review to come.) — They chose a beautiful, well organized space. — They layout of the event made great sense. I would definitely buy a ticket to this again(it is coming back, isn’t it?!) and would easily recommend you do the same. Denver beers are fantastic and well worth the cost of admission.
