Been having a lot of problem since DKB disposal take charge of the trash in my area. I am aware of their bad reputation but I still did asked them out and signed up to their promotion. I did all that because I want a clean environment but the bad thing is that they also have other plans because after a few weeks, they became really quiet and they distance from us and didn’t do their job which is questionable. I don’t want to waste and my time again and again over to a company that really uphold to its promise.

This was a great trash service, until about a month ago as other reviewers have also noted. They charged me in full for the months of March, April and May. I had to make 7 phone calls to make the payment in March. Now they have just discontinued the service and have not provided me with a refund for the months of April and May. As I called them today to inquire about a refund, they did not answer(of course). I highly suspect they knew they were going to discontinue their service when I made multiple call attempts to make payment in March — what a deceptive company to accept my payment and then not fulfill our service agreement. I will file a complaint with the BBB as another reviewer has stated. **UPDATE: After two more calls, they finally returned my message. They are issuing me a refund for their unfulfilled service terms. I will no longer file a complaint with the BBB.

DKB was a great company while I had them. They were prompt with their collection, and communicated with my family very well. I called them on the second week of march to make payment over the phone. They didn’t answer but called me right back and I made the payment for 3 months in full for March through end of May. Fast forward 2 weeks and I received a letter letting me know that I would receive one more trash pick up and they were canceling after that and would be refunded for the remainder. I called them the next business day, but did not hear back from them initially. It was very frustrating, however, I just spoke with the owner on the phone and was able to talk to him about the reasons for them cancelling and the suddenness of them canceling. While unfortunate, after speaking with him, it makes complete sense and I understand why it happened. If you are in an area that is serviced by DKB, I highly recommend them.

We had disposal service from Waste Management for decades with bills 2x plus the $ 20 monthly fee of DKB. WM adds a very stiff fuel surcharge to their bill and routinely increases their fees. A neighbor told us about this company and it has been all good since we switched to DKB6 months ago. DKB shows up every Thursday, takes away our trash, brings our trash cans up to the garage. Recycling happens every other week, no additional charge. What’s not to like? Why would anyone pay double to have their trash removed? I am embarrassed to admit we paid the premium WM price for decades, but we finally woke up to this: It’s garbage! Half price for removal is good.

We signed up with the DKB in April due to its attractive promotion: Pay first 3 months of service, get the next three months free. Guess what? After we have invested $ 160 for purchasing our own trash and recycle bins for using DKB service, and only 4 months later, our trash service was dropped by the DKB. The reason given was that DKB has decided to discontinue its service to our area. We have been given two weeks in advance notice for cancellation. I can’t help but keep wondering why they signed us up and then droped us so soon later. Were we the lab rats after all? So, if you are like me, who are in the market for finding a RELIABLE trash service company in the Denver metro area that will serve you many years to come, there maybe a lesson can be learned from my experience.
