Denver’s great telescope — a 26 ft long refractor from 1894 — in the middle of Observatory Park is awesome. In addition to astronomy classes, the astronomy club helps provide frequent public access evenings. At the monthly, first quarter moon Open House events, numerous portable telescopes appear to add to the viewing fun. A must see!
