Elegance Delivered

My daughter contacted Sharon Malloy from Elegance Delivered because she was on Mount Vernon Country Club’s preferred vendor list, which is where she was getting married. She hired another hairdresser and makeup artist who cancelled on her, just four days before the wedding, and she found herself in a panic. Sharon coordinates the independent contractors to show for the day. Although she was pretty booked with several weddings on that day, she managed to coordinate some techs to come over to our hotel and take care of our wedding party. I read the previous review, which I didn’t think was very fair. If you want to get your hair done for less, you need to go to a salon, When people come to a sight, you always pay a premium. Also, in every salon they charge more for long hair, so it makes sense that you pay more for that. The techs were professional, all the girls looked beautiful, and more importantly, they all showed up on time. Yes, she required a deposit to ensure that we were not going to cancel, but she came to our hotel and picked it up so I was not inconvenienced. Sharon delivered and saved the day for my daughter who was panic stricken.

Oh god, where should I start…
I wanted my hair done for the day of a friends wedding. This lady told me that the charge would be $ 60 (First of all that’s a ridiculous price for hair for a night, look elsewhere), then she says she would need a $ 30 deposit the next day. Like are you effin kidding me? not even 24 hours to get my shit together, Im human being too and have priorities. Here’s the next thing that pisses me off, She then says AFTER that there is $ 5 extra because I have long hair (like that makes a fckn difference). Then she sends an email saying if I didnt pay by the next day a $ 10 late fee would be applied. The fuck is that bullshit, can you charge me anymore? oh wait and at the end she expects gratuity. Like haven’t you already got it from the $ 5 dollar extra. oh wait it gets better, she states «price is based on hair length, thickness, texture and updo/​style «like is that even necessary!!! Completely dissatisfied.
This lady is too busy trying to make her job easier when she should be making it easier for us! If you haven’t noticed, this is the 1^st review? Trust me, go get your hair done somewhere else, or do it yourself!
