I like this place for what the owner does not do; he does not try to convince me to color my hair or to purchase«product»(that word just grates!) or other services. He simply washes, cuts and dries my hair the way I have asked for a reasonable price. The few times he’s cut my hair we have had substantive conversations, rather than engaging in superficial chatter. The salon, like its unassuming owner, lacks the gleam and upbeat vibe of a trendier joint. But if you are looking for a funky and down to earth neighborhood place to lose some locks, this place makes the cut.
