My go to sandwich shop in the area. I always get the Jack Rabbit and my husband the Italian. The Jack Rabbit is a, you guessed it vegetarian. Nice fresh veggies and fresh avocado, not the premade spread kind. The bread has a great chewy texture and its a good size for the price. I’ve always taken the subs to go, but there is a small area to sit and enjoy. Don’t forget to a pint of Little Man icecream!

It’s like a Jimmy Johns with a local, personal feel. Reasonable prices, they deliver very quickly, have Little Man ice cream, so it’s a great spot to stop in for lunch. I would refer people here over JJ or Subway or any other big chain any day. The Bacon PBJ is definitely something worth trying!

Definitely my favorite sub spot in town. Has better selection than Jimmy John’s and higher quality ingredients in my view(I.e. Fresh avocado instead of premade avocado spread). I’ve tried multiple subs, none better than«golden coast» with turkey, sprouts, avocado. The staff are always friendly. Oh… and they now sell Little Man ice cream without a line. Love this place!

Never order online! They never delivered our subs and when we called they still wouldn’t deliver our subs or refund us the $ 30

Came here late night to Kill off the Munchies! Lol Small sandwich shop that’s opened late is always a plus! I had a turkey and provolone on white with lettuce, tomato, and onions with salt, pepper, oil, and vinegar. The sandwich tasted good. I sat at one of the few tables inside to eat it. It was empty so I got my order quick. They also have delivery service I’d you need it.

I’ve seen these places popping up all around Denver, so I thought I’d give them a try, and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the roast beef sandwich, and had them add horseradish. I am happy to report that the horseradish actually had some kick to it. Too many places are afraid to use spices and sauces with impact these days, due largely to the woosification of America. The sandwich was on a nice French bread, and well fitted with a pile of meat. The cost is about a dollar more than the competitive offering from Subway, but more than worth it. I’ll be back.

BEWARENEVERUSEYOURCREDITCARDWITHFATJACKS We put an order with Fat Jacks online service on there website the total $ 53.00 on my debit card. After two hours of not receiving our order we called & was told «you shouldn’t order online as we didn’t receive a fax» They said I could reorder yet they are not in charge of their website where you order online & they would not refund my money or give me my order unless we paid again.

I’m always on the hunt for veggie subs and Denver is a good place for that — just ask for the«Boulder» at any sandwich shop and it will likely be their veggie option :-) Here though, I got the jack rabbit sub with giardiniera and Swiss cheese — topped with sprouts, lettuce, onion, tomato, vinegar and oil, this was a delightful sub. A good rule of thumb when visiting the 32nd ave location is to ALWAYS leave with a pint of Little Man Ice cream without waiting in line. Those pints are way too conveniently located for you to leave without one… even if they were inconvenient I’d be leaving with one — I suppose this is the part where I tell you that I’m a vegetarian with an ice cream problem.

The sub itself is really good except the employees are kinda assholes and if I ever get it for delivery my orders messed up.

Love, love, love Fat Jacks. Sandwiches are always delicious and the service is always quick and super friendly. Plus they gave me free Little Man ice cream as part of a new promotion. What’s better than free? Literally nothing.

Solid subs here. A bit more variety than Jimmy Johns and just about as fast. The staff at this location is friendly and talented. Rec: the Don, sub spicy giardiniera in place of tomatoes.

This was disappointing. The meal comes with chips, a pickle, and a drink that is the size of a baby’s sippy cup. I’m not a super size it, big gulp kind of girl but it was weak. If you are ordering to go, just skip the drink. The sub was nothing special. What made me rank this place at a one was the fact that my sub came with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and hair. Yes, hair. The staff was nice enough, and while they had their hair pulled back it was not enough. Now one might ask wait, couldn’t it have been your hair? Unless I selected a short hair and pulled it out of my pony tail, straightened it and then opened my sandwich and put in half way through, then no it was not my hair. So all in all, even if there hadn’t been a hair in my food I would have only given this place three stars. You can bet I won’t be returning.

Sorry, FJ. Had to knock you down 1-star since the lady at the counter tried to overcharge my friends. We ordered 7 subs and only got 6, yet were almost charged for the 7. The guy who made the sandwiches had to correct her and she made a snarky remark at him: not cool. My friends live a few blocks away and go there all the time — you should treat your loyal clients better.

Amazing Sandwiches and amazing customer service! So glad it’s close to where I work. The employees are always in such a great mood. My favorite sandwich is «The Fax» on wheat(turkey, bacon amazingness!) I’m here about once a week and love the place.

This place always has me coming back for more! Each sandwich I try I fall in love with, and I am glad they have sprouts unlike some other sandwich makers in town. Plus they give great customer service and have rewards program that you can use all over The Highlands!
