Huge venue. $ 12 tall cans. Sound was booming but levels were controlled. Parkway Drive killed it, the Fillmore was an acceptable medium.

Great venue, a huge variety of musicians perform here. I’ve been numerous times to see Indie, Bluegrass, Electronic and Rap. The set up is pretty nice, they have a main general standing area with a soundboard in the middle in addition to an elevated area on both right and left-hand sides with bars/restrooms, there is also a balcony area in the back. Funny– They have water fountains, which is a huge plus for me because I DONOT like buying water for insane prices. Many venues refuse to give you water and have no fountains… liability if you ask me! I’ve noticed that their security can be pretty intense sometimes, I guess they have to be particular! Have had many great times here, will be back!

Been here a few times over the past couple years. Have never had a good experience. They can not do sound at all. Everything sounds terrible and every show I’ve been to has been stopped for problems. Also expensive drinks. The water isn’t bad, $ 3.

We went to two shows this last weekend on November 13 and November 14. The venue has a nice outdoor smoking area top notch and thank you for the extra restrooms there. There’s an OK selection of beer all the prices are pretty high at $ 11 a drink. Unfortunately it can’t all be paradise. I can deal with the cost of drinks as I’m accustomed to going to shows and going out on a regular basis. There is one bartender at this venue upon when observing we are shocked that he even has a job. Bartender number 065 is the slowest bartender I have ever seen anywhere. He’s not just nonchalant he moves like a turtle. When he speaks, when he listens, when he pours drinks, when he delivers drinks, and when he attempts to complete the transaction it is like hell on earth waiting for this person that if he wasn’t in public I would assume he had a learning disability. Maybe he does. This guy needs some serious training or behavior modification. After a while it became offensive to all customers that he had no sense of urgency to provide service.

Drinks are super overpriced paid $ 11 for a cran and vodka then it was the same price for a shot by the way they didn’t know what a AMF was the bartender got an attitude when I explained to her what was in it and replied«I can’t make that»

Let’s be honest, $ 12 tall boys? At least try not to make it obvious you’re ripping me off for pißwaßer beer. Overpriced drinks aside(definitely pregame before your concert) the venue is solid. We got there 45 minutes early to see my brother Chadwick Stokes open for Xavier Rudd and we comfortably squeezed into the third row. I could get close enough to my favorite artist that he could see me crying tears of joy. If your artist is cool enough, they’ll cruise around the joint hanging out with the fans. I’ll be honest, Chad Stokes exalted this place from a questionable 3* to a solid 4*, but I almost always love small-ish venues because there’s always such a great vibe.

I went here to see a concert(Slash) and liked the venue a lot. It was very convenient to my hotel and I walked to the venue. I did note that parking was expensive for those who drove. I think the venue is laid out nicely. The entry is easy and security is reasonable. The sound system was excellent and the mixing was perfect. There are some VIP tables to the side but most of the tickets are general admission so you stand. I did not really mind, although by the end of the concert my back kind of ached. The worst thing about GA standing is that short people(women) hold up their iPhone Plus to record whole songs which blocks the view of everyone behind them. But they are mostly oblivious because they got what they wanted. Anyway, not to rant: it’s a great place to see a concert and I would return. I did not check out the drink prices but lots of people were carrying BIG beers.

Security is a joke and a half. Will never go back to this venue even if my ticket was free.

Its just ok. Parking first of all is a damn nightmare, unless you have a bestie like me who knows where to go and hide your vehicle. The sound isnt too great either. The VIP section is not even worth the upcharge. The bars have a great selection of brews, and the basic open floor general admission is just ok. I really think they should make the floor less slippery(yes its very slippery when stuff gets dropped on it) I go to alot of local smaller venues and this one is not bad. I mean if one of my bands comes to town I will venture down there. And the bathroom situation is a nightmare, so hold it if you can.

Oh man what an amazing place to catch a show at. Denver, you’ve got yourselves a winner here with the Fillmore! Really reminds me of the Fillmore over in San Francisco as well, which with how amazing the San Francisco venue is, isn’t just a casual comparison to throw out there. Sound quality here was pretty great. Love that they’ve got the bass turned up to the point where you can feel it soaking through your bones, but not to the point where you’re drowning in it. The stage itself is a little rinkydink and it looks kinda generic, but my focus is usually on the band, not the décor. Really though, I want to give the security guards a standing ovation. In all my years of going to a myriad of concerts, the security here was the best of any show that I’ve been to. They were nice and friendly and talkative, and they passed out water to all of us in the front few rows. They even did a great job of kicking out people that were rowdy and pushing to the front. Everyone in the front even shook their hands at the end of the show. Very professional and honestly, they kept the night fun. Definitely gonna be looking into going to more shows here! It’s a venue not worth passing up, that’s for sure.

Great venue! I’ve been here a few times and am always happy with the show, the sound, the crowd and the space. Its a great place to dance, although it gets crowded at front, as per usual. They usually have a selection of Budweiser products, including tall boys and canned margaritas(which are $ 12 and WORTHIT if you are a light drinker). They accept both printed and mobile tickets and do a non invasive search prior to entering the building to ensure safety — but believe me, the place is no stranger to a joint or two ;) Parking can be found more easily behind the Fillmore and up a few streets. You might have to pay a small fee at a lot but its better than the ridiculous amount it costs to pay parking tickets in Cap Hill.

Came here with the lady friend to see Empire of the Sun, and man was it a treat. The venue is a medium sized venue, at least in my experiences, and there was a nice flow from waiting outside to inside. Security was pretty efficient even with crowds and they didn’t give off too much of a 1984 vibe which was nice. Nice size for a good concert, and the sound and music worked awesome with the acoustics of the building. It was a surprise to see them hand out water in between the opener and the main band, much appreciated. Overall a great place with great energy, look forward to coming back. PS. Just want to give a shoutout to the security guy up front that made the show all the better. Had some crazy drunk girl come out of nowhere and try to shove her way to front row, pushing and being fairly nasty. Dude had the eyes of a hawk and got her under his flashlight right away, then got her out of the area to the cheers of the crowd. She pushed two girls before so it was great to see awareness before escalation in the crowd. Thanks homie!

The sound is terrible. So loud everything just sounds like noise and distortion. Tonight’s concert was completely ruined.

If there is anything I appreciate more than unique venues(I actually find aesthetics and history more fun than concerts and live music themselves), it is the offering of a good beverage program. Think Red Rocks and craft beer. Unfortunately, it seems Fillmore still has an inclination towards the Bud Light and tall boys of the 90’s. And thus promotes a fraternity house vibe. Yet, I think that is just what this area of gentrified Denver needs. Some 90’s kids rolling around and drinking cheap beer. And a concert venue that has a upper deck, creepy looking drapes alongside chandeliers, and a main center section at which to party. Lastly, numerous stands at which to grab your alcohol beverages. Definitely sounds like a fraternity house to me. Why do I revisit the 90’s and party culture so much within this review? Because I saw Third Eye Blind, and they put on a monster of a show.

If the Fillmore would stop sodomizing ticket buyers with a $ 20 ‘convenience fee’ I would be all about it. That’s 20 bucks they charge you to buy a ticket online — there is no other way to buy a ticket because the box office is only open day of show when it’s sold out. So if you want to get in you are paying the additional money. This is money that the Bands see NONE of. So for all the ‘cool,’ ‘hip’ venues — anyone who goes here is getting screwed! The only reason they charge this money is because they can. You might as well take that money and light it on fire.

Came to Denver from LA to see Brand New and I have to say, I really like the vibe of the place. I AirBNB-ed a place walking distance away so I didn’t have to deal with parking. Sure the drink prices are high but I’m from LA, I’m used to everything being expensive, so a double Henny & Coke for $ 20 was a fair price to me. Found a great spot stage left near the bar in the back which was amazing because I’m a shorty so I could actually see! I was surprised no one was smoking any weed in the crowd, in LA everyone smokes weed no matter where it’s at. I was also surprised by how nice and helpful all the event workers were. I had a great time! There’s also a bunch of bars lining the streets in this area(and all of Denver it seems) so there’s plenty of pregame and postgame action ;)

Not my favorite concert venue, but it’s adequate. I have seen some pretty BA shows here as some of the bigger names come through the Fillmore. The VIP area just isn’t worth the upcharge. You’d have a seat but the acoustics can’t be all that great sitting off on the side and upstairs. Drinks are outrageously priced and restrooms tend to be pretty nasty.

We drive up to Denver several times a year to see shows at the Fillmore. They have shows here that never make it to Albuquerque. I’m a fan of this venue. Sure, parking sucks… But for a smaller venue that’s expected. Drink prices are rough but hello, it’s a venue. Expect it. Pregame. We ended up coming to a show here after I had broken my ankle. My fave band, I didn’t gaf that I was on crutches, I was going. I called to see what accomadations they had for broken people, and they said just to let security know and they’d put me in a safe place. When we arrived, there was already a line. We got in the line, and as soon as a security guy saw us they pulled us out of the line. They took us inside through a side door and sat my party in some chairs with a good view of the stage, where I wouldn’t be squished or stepped on. It was awesome. I’ve never felt so taken care of by a venue, and this isn’t the only show I have attended on crutches. It’s not the cleanest, classiest place but it has a great history, and the sound quality is pretty good. We’ll be back.

The Fillmore has never been my favorite Denver music venue, but most of the shows that I have caught there have been all-aroound alright times. They are able to bring in some more popular acts because of their size, but I’ve never felt like the venue was so large that I wasn’t connecting with the show. The drinks are expensivo and and the people who work the doors are usually kinda brash and unfriendly, but once you’re inside and the music is going, I’m good.

I’ve been here a couple times over the years for shows and it’s definitely a place to get together and see a more intimate show. There are only a few seats/tables on the sides, and you have to pay extra for those. Everything else at the Fillmore is GA and standing room only. If you’re okay with standing for the whole show with no backup of being able to sit down, it’s a great place to see a show. And tickets are usually relatively cheap, too. Drinks are just absurdly priced here, of coruse. But what concert venue isn’t? There’s no real place to park, either. Tons of side street parking, which is catch as catch can. There’s a couple hidden lots, but they are blocks down the street, so if you know they’re there, you’re golden.
