Fourth Wall is a really, really good idea. You can pay a $ 50 membership fee and it’s good for 9 shows. Not one season, although a season is 9 shows, but you can join in the middle of a season and your membership will roll over through the next season until you’ve had your opportunity to participate in seeing 9 shows with Fourth Wall. So what does this membership get you exactly? Lots of things including $ 20 tickets for you and up to 4 of your friends to the show, food before the show and an opportunity to mingle with other 20 and 30 somethings, and a cocktail after the show and another opportunity to hang out with others and sometimes meet the artists from the shows. Not only that, but this year they have some really stellar shows on the schedule such as To Kill A Mockingbird, West Side Story, and Ring of Fire: The Music of Johnny Cash. If you are in your 20s and 30s and interested in attending more shows at the DCPA Fourth Wall is a great way to get into more of them and making a night of going out to the show. One final note, if you aren’t interested in the membership or want to check it out before committing you can also attend Fourth Wall as a non-member — tickets are $ 35 for non-members that want to go.
