There’s no doubt the quality of Frontiere meats is good, I loved the beef brats and other products. The downer is It’s simply expensive, no two ways about it. I’m a serious foodie and a solid non-professional cook. I make decent money but my wallet was in tears both times I left Frontiere. So I’m sticking with Your Butcher, Franks, whose products have been excellent forever and are all natural as well. It’s less expensive and better steaks or chicken. To be fair, Frank’s does not have exotic stuff, and Frontiere’s game meats, bison and elk are awesome! So if you are a wealthy foodie with a penchant for gourmet game meats, and 100k annual income, you can afford to shop here. Please support them then, they’re really great folks!

Frontiere natural meats has the best quality, most delicious, antibiotic and hormone free meats in Longmont! They are very helpful and friendly. Joanne does amazing demonstration events that will give you great ideas on how to prepare their meats into gourmet meals!

Very informative and friendly staff. Fresh grass fed steaks. Cooked up the ribeye and it was very good. Elk is kept frozen but cant wait to thaw it out and try it.

The selection of bison products was quite good. Grilled a tenderloin and it was exceptional. Prices were not cheap, but the quality was representative of the price. Lots of beef products, hopefully they add turkey.
