Don’t forget about this little gem of a pizzeria… I came to Denver from Chicago where pizza is king. This place is pretty damn good if you are in the mood for a nice NY style pizza full of grease and all that good healthy stuff. I love dives bars and I love pizza… This place is kinda a dive style pizzeria…

About on par with Anthonys maybe a little lower. Perfectly edible. Wings leave much to be desired. I found a hair on my za though. I hope it was at least an armhair instead of… something else :/.

Well… the name of the place kind of sums it up. Although, with a name like Fuhgidabowdit, I had high expectations for a decent slice of NY style pie. The only reason I didn’t forget about it is because my tummy ached for a while after. This is partially my fault, knowing how my body feels about pizza. Sometimes, I eat pizza despite this fact. Unfortunately, I cannot say this mishap was worth the consequences. I am sure this place is a college kid favorite, but it’s not a Kendra favorite. It has the DU feel. I haven’t quite figured out what it is about a place that gives it that feel, but it was there. I also haven’t figured out if the«DU feel» is a positive or negative quality. I’ll get back to that someday. I do wish I could give Fuhgidabowdit Pizzeria a higher rating, as the owner(I think he was the owner) was cute, kind and warm with just a little bit of the east coast attitude(which I can appreciate). But… what can I say? I’m an honest pizza snob.

$ 28 bucks for two 16″ pizzas. One mushroom & sausage, the other straight up pepperoni. Yummmmmmmm! Big ol’ pliable slices. The sausage isn’t ground sausage, it’s thinly sliced like pepperoni. Be forewarned it’s a bit spicy. I’m grateful to have a place that I can depend on for a New York slice.

Favorite place to get a slice and at a great price. Just a buck + tax 7 days a week during the daytime(until 6). The pizza is decent, not the best but definitely well above most of the chains. The people working there are«real» they don’t seem to be corporate shills or following a script like at most pizzerias and that is a refreshing change. I haven’t had delivery from here because it is just 1 block from my place but I definitely recommend stopping in for a slice. Beware, they close at 10pm on weeknights(Sun-Wednesday) which is really early for a pizza joint. UPDATE: Recently found out that they’ve discontinued the one buck slices :(. I’ve been out of Denver for the past few months and am moving out completely now so I haven’t had a chance to confirm.

Oh the sweet memories with this place. As a DU student, Fuhgidabowdit pizza is a place you remember when you went out to a local bar, and then went to when you had the late night munchies. This is definitely not my favorite place to get pizza, but it is pretty good, especially when you are craving something late at night and cheap. The service is definitely below bar at times, and if you really dig this type of pizza I would definitely recommend Famous Pizza over it. But if you are in the neighborhood and looking for something cheap and tasty, then go here.

Great Pies, although calling it a pie is a stretch. The crust is thin — New York Style, and the taste is great. The service can be a bit weak at times. I’ve ordered for pick up and had to wait cause they screwed up and didn’t make it — had to wait 25 minutes but no big. Attitude inside the place matches that of a typical NYC pizza joint. Best ‘Za in the neighborhood.

Was in the neighborhood and remembered I needed to try the ‘za here on a rec from Kendra M. I opted for the two slice and a drink lunch combo and asked for a cheese and a white slice at whatever upcharge there would be. They don’t do white pizza by the slice? Okay. Might I suggest taking it off the menu then? Not a biggie, just saying. My two cheese slices were out in no time at all and were nicely cooked with a bit of char, thin crust with a little bit of chew and topped with a nice proportion of sauce and cheese. Well I agree that a sauce doesn’t have to be loaded with herbs and or garlic, it needs to at least have a hint of salt or at the very least there should be shakers of oregano and garlic salt available on the counter. If I lived or worked near here, I would definitely be a regular(that brought his own g-salt and oreg.) but I wouldn’t make the cross town trip again just for this pie. I’d probably give them a 3 ½ after taking partial stars off for lack of seasoning(in or to put on), not brushing the oven down often enough(charred bits on the bottom of the slices), and no white slices available when it’s on the menu board. What would a New Yorker say about this pie? How da’ fug did yuz spell dat? Eben da op’rayduh cud’n findit!

I thought this pizza was really good. The crust was delicious. The cheese was melty and the size was enormous. For a girls night, it was perfect! My slice just needed some jalapeño’s LOL~

New York, New York. i want to be… You don’t have to travel far to get a taste of a real«thin» crust pizza. I normally leave some of the crust on my plate. Not here, the crust can stand on it’s own without sauce or cheese. They have all the standard pizzas at Fuhgidabowdit. But you must try the Caprese Pizza. This pizza alone will make you come back for more. Looking forward to my return trip back to «New York».

I ordered a 16″ pie with mushrooms for delivery. It took close to an hour to arrive, and it cost $ 20 with tip. I was a little disappointed in the pizza because the taste became very boring after the first piece, and I was expecting something more interesting. The crust is thin, not too much sauce, cheese is fine, but frankly there was not much flavor. I like some seasoning and spice in the sauce, and this was too flat. For the money, this was not worth it. I doubt I will try Fuhgidabowdit again. The name is irritating as well. Try googling this phonetic nightmare.
