Not a frequent visitor of Gamestops these days since I have no reason to look at video games or drop more money on gaming systems or games that I don’t use. My primary reason for going is selling back games and equipment from a previous life. I bit disappointed with the value of some of the products I’ve spent a lot of money on and now are worth less than $ 10. I’ll take what I can get I guess, just very irritating. Now that I’ve vented… The guy behind the counter was honest and took what he could for a couple dollars. I was in and out and back in the heat of the day in no time.

Horrible place to buy PC Games. The staff is helpful, nerdy and can talk to most games. But their entire policy on PC Game Sales is just stupid. The worst thing is the games are all opened. I couldn’t believe this. The game box was on display out front and had been beat up a bit. But the game itself was in back — literally the disks and reg-key had been taken out. I don’t want to pay new price for a game that was already opened and the box has been handled by everyone. I pointed out that on the back of the box it even says«not valid for sale if opened». They didn’t seem to concerned though and stated that’s their policy. Wouldn’t mark the price down either. Unacceptable! I will never buy a game here again or recommend anyone does. Another irritating thing… I needed two copies of a game that was just released and very popular. They only had one copy — of any PC game.

I’m a fan of any and all things video games, and I enjoy shopping at my local Gamestop. I needed to pick a new nunchuk for the Wii and was in the area and decided to stop. This store is like most of the others, loaded with nerds like myself. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The one thing I’ve noticed about Gamestop is they are always trying to push you into pre-ordering all kinds of upcoming games. I always say«no» and they always ask«are you sure?». Yes, I’m sure. and if you ask me one more time… It gets annoying. When I shop at Gamestop it’s and in and out thing. I’m usually after one thing and that’s it. So for that, I thank you.
