Lovely garden nursery near DU. The small size adds to the charm. Great selection of indoor and outdoor plants. My favorite thing to buy here is their tomatoes, which are more reasonably priced than most other garden centers ($ 1.69 for a small starter plant). They are also one of the only local nurseries that carries the delicious Jaunne Flamme tomato plant. Check them out if you are in the area.

Anyone who reads my reviews knows that I love Mom & Pop style small businesses, and Garden Patch falls right into that category.
I lost my green thumb a couple years ago when she moved out East and I stayed, so now it’s up to me to beautify me yard.
I wandered around looking for flowers, tomatoes for the garden, etc., and must have looked a little lost, when an Angel came to me and asked if I needed assistance (Seriously, her name was Angel).
Angel walked me through a ton of options for both by sunny and shady locations, boxing up flower after flower, until eventually I was all set for the summer. It turned out she wasn’t even on the clock that day, and had just popped in to take care of something or other, but still went out of her way to provide good customer service!

Great neighborhood nursery.
A few parking spaces in a private lot (~4−5) — on weekends during the spring you will likely be searching for a street spot which can be tough as this nursery is directly across the street from Campus Cycles which is also a busy spring location! That’s the only down side of this place though.
Friendly staff — the owner is awesome and very knowledgeable. Excellent plants — I have purchased my tomato plants from them for five years running. Last year they didn’t have any «Super Fantastic» plants when I was putting in my garden so I picked up that one variety at Home Depot and it wasn’t nearly as productive a plant.

Terrific little place.
Stopped in today and the woman who helped me and i believe owns the place was fantastic. Gave great advice and tips on what i was looking for and asking about.
I am now all set up to try my mightiest for successful house plants.
