There is a ton of good stuff here, much of it reasonably priced. Despite finding a few items we really liked, however, we left with nothing when we grew tired of being followed around the place by one of the glaring women who works here. And even when we did try to buy a small purse, they turned their backs on us at the register and proceeded to ignore us. I guess don’t be a young person from out of town if you’re looking for a good experience here.

If you are willing to go through filled cases of varied items you might find the perfect treasure for you. The staff is helpful and friendly. I suggest you give it a try.

Just too many showcases, can’t look at a lot of things up close. One guy has records in his show case, not sure how he expects anyone to buy them since you can”t read what they are. I had gone back to my car but they kicked my girlfriend out at 4:50, she had to walk through a dark building, and the help had their coats on ready to leave. The sign said 5:00. Most ridiculous thing we’ve ever seen.

If you’re looking for the elusive Victorian anything for your collection… you’re going to be disappointed. Most items are from the 1940’s and 1950’s. you’ll even seen Looney Tunes printed glasses and other items that might not be as «antique» as what you were originally searching for. Are there treasures here? sure I suppose. I just thought, I’ve seen this same stuff at other stores. I don’t need a milk glass candy dish with a zig zag edge. I thought their vintage brooches were on the high side but they were much more organized than in other stores. If you want matchbox cars sealed in the plastic bubbles, they have lots.

Lots of items to look at… Just don’t arrive past 430pm. Even if you drove a great distance the ladies that work there don’t care about that. We arrived at 435 and noticed the sign said they close at 5pm, so we started to hustle through. At 445pm the lights went out without warning. :(We asked if we could finish shopping but were told that according to their clocks it was 5pm. Our cell phones must be wrong! How strange to want to spend money and then not given the chance. Very poor business practice. I hope the venders know how much money they could be loosing over the course of the year if these ladies do this everyday! There were seven us in there when this happen… and we had items that were interested in. If only the employees would have been more business minded, we would have had a much better rating.

There is a reason this place only gets a 4… BECAUSETHEYWANTED $ 1200 for a suit of armor! And I mean a real suit of armor, not a little statue of a knight, a real suit of armor that you’d see being worn by the jousters at the Renaissance Faire. Well looks like I know what I’m gonna be saving up for when it comes to something I absolutely want! Other than that, it seems to be more like a normal antique mall with sections and all kinds of odds and ends. I’d make a stop here if I were you.

We went in here today while were looking through antique malls in the area… I’m a little confused as to the actual name as a German Trading Post, this seemed like a pretty standard antique mall. There was a wide selection of antiques and the prices were pretty spot-on for what you’d expect. I didn’t make any big finds to take home, but if you’re looking for something in particular, it’s certainly not a bad place to stop in.
