The owners are amazing, the merch is adorable and the store is just generally CUTE! Gimme Gimme is so cute Japanese kitchy that when I leave the store, I have cavities from the sweetness. I bought this weird notepad with bears(or hamsters?) that were doctors and nurses. Each paper was different, so I got hamsters with pills, hamsters with needles, and hamsters administering pills and needles. I don’t ever use them, although obviously that’s the point of a pad of paper. I just can’t imaging using them all up!

I love this place and I’ve found numerous fun gifts for friends here, and for myself. I also buy my grandmother Pocky here :) I agree with some of the other reviewers who say they wish GGPT had more inventory. It is a small store, but I still think they could add quite a bit. My favorite random find so far has been a DVD of «Cutie Honey!» The only downer for me is the location, since I live in Capitol Hill — I really wish it was on Broadway or 13th or some place.

I love this store! They offer a variety of snacks, toys, clothes, and other miscellaneous cool crap from Japan. The only downside is the smallish size of this store. Unless it’s the blind box toys or pins, their stock is rather limited. The owners are nice and helpful, the prices aren’t too bad and heck, you even get free Pocky and other snacks to munch on while browsing!

Denver will continue to feel like a small town with big city aspirations until it has more boutiques like Gimme Gimme PIllow Toast. This is a store that oozes kooky style. Lots of Japanese stuff(Chicago Style Pizza Pringles from Tokyo anyone?) as well as art and other Asian goodies, this bright spot in the mind-numbing sameness of Belmar. The only reason I don’t give them the last star is because I want the store to stock even more cool stuff!

Hello kitty. When you’re hankering for Japanese pop culture, Gimme Gimme Pillow Toast is your number one Front Range destination for all kinds of wacky stuff. This small shop in Belmar’s Block 7 offers a wide assortment of edgy clothing, baubles, housewares, toys, silly cellphone bling and sundry miscellany influenced by Animé, Manga, Otaku obsession, Harajuku fashion and Juxtapoz-style street art. I was in a last-minute clutch to find gifts for four birthday girls, this place solved my problem in short order. Lots of unique items, most at great prices. The Bruce Lee«Enter the Dragon» candle was one example of my scores. And I love the window museum display of an original Power Rangers costume, sporting some post-apocalyptic wear from members of local video game pimprockers Mr. Pacman.
