Global Travel Health

My husband and I were recommended to go to Global Travel Healthy by our general practitioner when we told him we were going to Belize. Global Travel Health was able to quickly get us in for an appointment, where we met with an RN to discuss some of the concerns/​advice with travel to Central America. She was helpful and had knowledge of the area (along with Malaria maps and statistics) and gave us advice on the food we should/shouldn’t eat, how to avoid mosquito bites, and which vaccines and medications were recommended. They can write prescriptions and administer vaccines for their recommendations there.
Though we didn’t see him (he was traveling), the office also has one of 2 (so we’re told) doctors specializing in tropical medicine.
Overall, Global Travel Health was a good experience. Our one complaint is that they don’t submit the forms to insurance directly, but they did give us all of the information so we can try to have insurance reimburse us.
