AVOID! THEY ARE A SCAM! Bruno said «don’t worry all our guys are drug and background checked»… I had not even thought about it, and thought it was odd to start off the conversation with this information. I should have ran away like my gut told me.
They charged me $ 100 «deposit» then showed up 2 hours late without a truck, pads, or even a dolly (as they had promised). The guys were tattooed from the neck down, high on a heavy sedative and wouldn’t even look us in the eye. When scheduling our appointment, Bruno said it was $ 100 per hour and that we could pay by credit card. When the movers showed up, they wanted $ 137 per hour and wanted cash payment only. When I told them this was not what we agreed upon he called my wife a liar. I would not trust them with our valuables or in our home. When I called Bruno to inform him of the situation he said «our truck broke down» and he urged that «his insurance would pay for any damage that they cause while moving, so I didn’t need to worry about the fact that they weren’t able to pad the walls and protect our house.» As for the price change he refused to cooperate and hung up on me and would not respond to my demands for a refund of the deposit; despite the fact that they failed to show up capable of offloading our moving truck.
Now I find that ABC 7 News has been investigating them for years. I should have done better research, don’t be fooled and scammed like we were.

This is my first post to Unilocal,its unfortunate it has to be so negative. If I could put zero stars I would. Lies, lies, lies. I set up an appointment for noon… after waiting 2 hours I called the company and they said that their truck was «hijacked» and that DPD was headed to the scene. Then at 4pm, 4 hours after quoted pick up time, they told me that actually it wasn’t hijacked, but lent to a friend. They said that with it being 4pm and without a truck, they would have to reschedule. Rediculous! What’s even more telling about the company? Its June 5^th and they still have not refunded my credit card for the $ 100 deposit. I encourage you to go somewhere else.
